What´s the name of your band? Psychostick
What made you call the band "Psychostick"? We're just crazy and stupid. Oh, and the name "Asinine" was taken. Popped in my head one morning!
How was the band formed? My buddy Josh and I went to High School together and wanted to start a band. We were goofy nerd guys, so comedy metal made more sense to u s.
Can you tell about your band? We are a national touring comedy metal band that is way to attractive.
Where are all band members from?/Who does what in the band?
Rawrb - Vocals, Web Guy, from Odessa, TX
Josh - Guitar, Producer/Engineer, from Odessa, TX
Alex - Drummer, makes bird sounds, from Phoenix, AZ
Matty - Bassist, builds studio things, from Long Island, NY
What was the ambitions of the band when you started? We just wanted to make heavy, funny music. The rest just followed.
Could you explain your music to someone that haven't heard you? Sure. "Psychostick is comedy metal! *smacks face with phone book*
Where was your first gig? It was at a venue called, "Boston's" in Tempe AZ. Feb 2nd, 2000.
Who writes your songs?/ who writes the music who writes lyrics? We all pretty much do nowadays.
Who has the best since of humor in the band? I better not answer this if I value my life.
Why did you pick that particular style?/What are your songs about? Comedy and metal just makes sense for us weird guys. Our songs are about anything that makes us laugh.
Do you write your own material or mainly covers? We write our own stuff.

How old are you?/What got you started in music? I am 33. I started music in 7th grade playing trombone.
How old were you guys when you first stood on stage? I was 20.

Is it always the same songs live? Nope, we like to mix it up.
What are the plans for the rest of the year? Finish our new album and tour our pants right off of our legs.

How do you get psyched up for a gig? Coffee! So many coffee.
What are your goals with your music? To love what we do, and to laugh until we explode.
When did you decide to go all in for the music? When "Beer!" took off. We had an opportunity, and we took it to tour. Yeah!
Is it easier to get your inspiration from older bands or from bands more modern? We get inspiration not so much from bands, but from life experiences and food.
What's the first step when making a new song? The concept. You gotta know what it's about first.
How do you feel about the downloading of music instead of buying albums? It's awesome. More people get to hear us.
What would be your dreams for the band? Already livin' it!
