What´s the name of your band? OneLegMan
How was the band formed? The band was formed in 2001, starting as cover band and experimenting some original song as well. It took quite some time to find our sound but, in 2011, We released our first album called “The Crack”.
Where are all band members from?/Who does what in the band? We all come from a small Italian city called Reggio Emilia. Members are Cristian Ceccardi on vocals, Riccardo Sassi on guitar, Luca Bertani on bass and Riccardo Pinotti on drums.
Could you explain your music to someone that haven't heard you? It’s a mix of various influences, there’s a rock/metal background of course, but we try to incorporate elements from different kinds of music as well. When the first album came out, some magazine or webzine labeled our music as “new metal” or they compared us to System Of A Down. From that we noticed that they didn’t listen to the record at all.
Where was your first gig? Honestly I can’t remember. Considering the place where we live, probably one of the worst clubs known to humanity.
Where was the latest gig? We headlined a small festival in Italy.
Who writes your songs?/Who writes the music who writes lyrics? In terms of composition, we’re all involved (and probably that’s the reason why we spend most of our time creating and destroying everything we create).
Who has the best sense of humor in the band? We all have good sense of humor I think. But, if we’re talking about entertaining skills, probably our guitar player Ricky is the best one. He has the perfect combination of inner peace and entertaining skills. for this reason we always use him as peace ambassador when it’s time to manage a negotiation with a bastard promoter or an headlining band made by assholes.
Have you made any albums?/If yes what are they? Our first album “The Crack” was released in 2011. Right now, we’re mixing and mastering the new record.

Best/worst gig you've played? Probably the best gig we played was in Kherson (UA), at the Krock u Mybutne festival. The crowd was absolutely on fire and we still have great memories. We also supported famous bands like Deep Purple, Lacuna Coil, Misfits, Cynic, Freak Kitchen and of course it’s been a blast.
What about the worst gig? I remember a festival in the south of Italy, in front of 4 people with probably the worst backline/PA system in the world.
What are the plans for the rest of the year? Releasing our second album and planning some kind of promotional tour.
What would be your dreams for the band? Play good gigs, trying to bring our music outside of Italy as much as we can.
Besides your own music, what genres and bands do you listen to? Of course we’re all metal fans, but we like to listen to different kinds of music. On our Ipod you could find Pantera, Wheater Report and Beethoven in the same playlist.
Have you been in any other bands? Probably we played in every band of our city. Our bass player is basically the "Rudy Sarzo" of our city rock bands. He really played with everybody.
What's the funniest/most memorable thing a fan has done for you? Signing beautiful girls belly in Ukraine was really interesting.
