What´s the name of your band? Hi everybody. We are OVERBLOOD from Italy
How was the band formed? We formed in 1996. The first line-up was composed by high-school friends.
Where are all band members from?/Who does what in the band? We come from many different parts of our region.

What was the ambitions of the band when you started? When you are young you have many dreams.
Could you explain your music to someone that haven't heard you? We play Groove/Post-thrash metal.
Who writes your songs?/Who writes the music who writes lyrics? All the members of the band.
Why did you pick that particular style?/What are your songs about? Our songs speak about how difficult is to live in this bad society.
Do you write your own material or mainly covers? Only our own material. There are too many coverbands out there and we don't like them.

At what age did you start playing? 16/17 years old
Best/worst gig you've played? The best gig was last summer with the mighty Obituary. We don't want remember the worst.
Is it always the same songs live? No, we often change our setlist.
What are the plans for the rest of the year? In 2015 we hope to record some new material
Besides your own music, what genres and bands do you listen to? Every member of the band likes different bands.
What would be your greatest fears for the future? We have no fear.
Have you been part of any other projects? Some member of the band has side-project.
What would you do if there was no music? Without music, life would be a mistake. (Nietzsche)
How important are your fans? Fans and friends are more important.
How often do you rehearse? Once a week.
Where do you rehearse? We rehearse in a basement.
What drives a band that isn't all that famous and renowned to try to make a living on their music and to keep playing? We play for passion and not for fashion or for the money.

What advice would you like to give other bands? Don't PAY to PLAY.
What is best/worst with playing the clubs? The best thing is the contact with the audience.
