What´s the name of your band? Blood Willow
How was the band formed? My vocal instructor suggested me to start band last year
Can you tell about your band? It’s a gothic experimental band
Where are all band members from?/Who does what in the band? We are all from California. Me (Stephanie) vocals, Dave guitar and Louis drums
What was the ambitions of the band when you started? To create music that had a wow factor.
Could you explain your music to someone that haven't heard you? Dark gothic experimental, with hints of death metal.
Where was your first gig? Dipiazzas in Long Beach, California
Where was the latest gig? Doll Hut in Anahiem, California
Who writes your songs?/Who writes the music who writes lyrics? I write the lyrics and David and Louis does the music.
Who has the best since of humor in the band? I would say David
What's good/bad with the band?/What genre do you feel you are? We are expiramental.
Why did you pick that particular style?/What are your songs about? Our songs is about heart break, being proud of who you are and some death
Do you write your own material or mainly covers? We write our own material.
Have you made any albums?/If yes what are they? We are in the middle of recording our new self titled album.
Do you have any clips on YouTube? Yes we do
How old are you?/What got you started in music? I was 16 when I got started. Listening to Metallica got me to love metal, and I would of not been who I am without them.
At what age did you start playing? 18 mostly garage bands before Blood Willow
How old were you guys when you first stood on stage? Blood Willows first show was last year.
What year was the band started? 2013
What places will you be playing in in the imidate future? Our goal is to get on warped tour next year and a USA tour.
Where have you played from then till now? Everywhere in California.
Witch band is the best you´ve seen? I would say my influence which is The Agonist
Is it always the same songs live? No we vary from show to show to keep it fresh.
What has been the best/most promising gig so far? I would say Chain Reaction.
Have you had any bigger tours from start to now? We are spring 2015.
What are the plans for the rest of the year? Finish recording our album have a sick release party and a music video.
Where do you usually play? Southern California
How do you get psyched up for a gig? I take my traditional shot of tequila or a enery drink. Red Bull if my fave.
What are your goals with your music? Get our music to the world. And let us be musicians and create.
When did you decide to go all in for the music? Last year.
Is it easier to get your inspiration from older bands or from bands more modern? I get inspiration from old and new.
What are your sources of inspiration? I would say being in musical theater has helped a lot.
How do you feel about the downloading of music instead of buying albums? I believe both are beneficial.
What would be your dreams for the band? Have a world tour soon.
Besides your own music, what genres and bands do you listen to? Death metal, Black metal, classical, musical theater, Symphonic Metal, Hard Rock and some salsa (my mom is Colombian)
What do you hold most dear? My band mates they are like family.
What would be your greatest fears for the future? Blood Willow to end.
When you are on stage, what do you fear most then? Falling from the stage (laughs)
Have you been part of any other projects? I am doing guest vocals with various bands.
Have you been in any other bands? Yes mostly garage bands when I was younger.
What do you work with outside of the band and the music? I do theater work and I work as a nurse.
What would you do if there was no music? It would be horrible.
How important are your fans? They are everything to us.
How often do you rehearse? Almost every day at the studio
Where do you rehearse? At a studio in Orange County called backline and a studio in Long Beach called 7even studios.

What do you feel is the best live band you've seen? Within Temptation
What drives a band that isn't all that famous and renowned to try to make a living on their music and to keep playing? Passion and heart

What are the biggest obstacles for a band? Money and time.

How would you describe your sound in one sentence Haunting, terrorizing, operatic, theatric and brutal metal.
What is your favorite crappy instrument? None.
What was one of the most quarrelsome times for you in the band? Overdosing last year and getting up again and continue.
Whats your Pre-show ritual? Energy drinks to get energized.
