What´s the name of your band? Bogotah

How was the band formed? All of us knew each independent scene of our city and as we got along, we decided to get together for a new project.

Can you tell about your band? Our band mixes rock and metal in a very characteristic sound without many definitions. Actually, we did not like to label us and leave compositions to flow following what we want. We want to see the crowd having fun and growing intellectually with the messages that pass through our lyrics.

Where are all band members from?/Who does what in the band?

We are from São Gonçalo and Niterói, Rio de Janeiro.

Renan - Lead Vocals

Igor Figueiredo - Guitar

Who writes your songs?/Who writes the music who writes lyrics? Everyone participates in the compositions.

Who has the best since of humor in the band? Igor, no doubts, lol.

What's good/bad with the band? The good thing is the fun and to exchange experiences. The bad thing is having to have the band as a side project and can not devote 100% of the time for that.

Why did you pick that particular style?/What are your songs about? Nope. Abouts politics, human nature and reflections on life.

Do you write your own material or mainly covers? We write our songs.

Have you made any albums?/If yes what are they? We released our first EP in April this year and we are in the process of composition for the second EP to be released in 2015.
