interview with Fire strike
Have any of you played in other bands? yes, I (Edivan Diamond) have a tribute band King Diamond which is the official tribute band in Brazil by the Fan Club Black Funeral, Alan also touches on Tiger, traditional heavy metal band, Henrique makes some appearances sometimes in other most bands do not have other fixed band.
How is it that you started playing music? I (Edivan Diamond) started playing when he was 16 to attend a festival in school, however only took firm even when I entered the house of evil (the king diamond tribute) and when I entered the Fire Strike started doing bass lessons.

Have you had other previous members? yes, the fire strike already had many formations however this training is the best that already had in years, with competent people who really know why are on the band
Did you make music even when you were young? I always wanted to make a sound with my own ideas or at least with my help since.always I found a maximum see people singing your song, it eh really cool.
Where are you from? we are of São Paulo, Brazil
What year did the band form? the band was formed in 2004 under another name more in 2005 changed the name of Fire Strike
What's your style of genre? we played traditional heavy metal 80, in the style of bands like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, king diamond among others
Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? we are looking for yes, however we are still recording the album until the end of this year we will finish
What are your songs about? we try to talk about things of everyday life, thoughts, stories.
Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? Who usually writes the lyrics is aline and helyad however we help also.
What ages are most of your concert attendants? We played for all types of public, from young, with 15 or 16 up to the headbangers ofold, we have not only a public
What was your first gig like? My first show was on fire strike in Guarulhos - sao paulo, along with Roxanne which came almost at the same time I put now will not remember the date (hahah)
When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? We, CDs, shirts, bottoms, virtually's right for now
Where can people buy your merchandise? sell the site www.firestrike.com.br or people can ask also for facebook or the band at shows because always take stuff for sale
What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? this is inevitable, it does not have much to say or at least here in Brazil when someone low and like the music ends up buying the album, even more Brazilian band that has easy access and low prices
How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? more or less, because sometimes even help because of the ease of people know your band, if the person really like it buy the cd, but at the same time hinders' cause sometimes people do not like to buy cd or find it expensive or simply not want and end up not buying and this hinders ja artist who basically 80% of the money comes from selling CDs.
Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? the inspiration always comes from the old bands that were the bands that inspired us to make our own sound, however some new bands also come for inspiration.
What advice would you give other bands or artists? Never give up on your goals, if you really like what you do then have q run after.
Do you have any new material? We are recording a new album which is scheduled to come out later this year (2015) we are recording in the studio of a Brazilian band well known here in Brazil, Dr sin, which is also known in some countries and I'm sure you will like.
