How is it that you started playing music? My dad was a musician and got me lessons at a very young age 

Have you had other previous members?

Did you make music even when you were young? Yeah I got violin lessons from 4-12 and got my first guitar at 13 so have been making music for years 

Where are you from? Sydney Australia but spend a lot of time in LA 

What year did the band form? 2013

What's your style of genre? Pop/emo/rock

How often and where do you reherse? We rehearse every week on mondays same time no matter where we are at 

How have you developed since you started with the music? We started as a dark electronic pop band and have transformed into a more emo rock band with pop and electronic/hip hop influences 

Do you have other interests of work outside the band? Writing from lyrics to poetry to novels 

Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that? We are currently looking for a good booking agency specially one based on Europe and the US as we want to tour as much as possible 

Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? We were just signed for the last year or so with a major label but their direction was much different to the way we wanted to go, so we now are currently independent and eventually looking for the right label 

What made you decide to make this music? To send a message, and be a voice for those people that feel like they don’t have one 

What are your songs about? My life

Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? Matais writes and produces the tracks sometimes with the help of Mik and the lyrics are written by me 

Do you start with the music or the lyrics? Music 

Do you compose in a certain inviroment? Studio 

Have you done any covers live? Yeah Kendrick Lamar swimming pools 

What language do you sing in? English

Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary? We vary the set we have around 30 songs to choose from

What was your first gig like? Awesome it was packed house at great venue in Syd 

What was your latest gig? Playing in LA for KROQ 

Where have you played live this year? LA 

Where do you plan to gig the comming year? We plan to tour Aus, USA and Europe 🤞🏻

When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? We are staying to sell merch this week, we have shirts badges and pins

What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? Music is music as long as people are sharing and listening still that’s all that matters 

How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? Labels jump on bands that are 10second wonders, because that’s all the attention span the listeners have these days

Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? Both 

What have been your biggest obstacles? Dealing with industry people, mainly labels and other people’s ideas about your art 

What advice would you give other bands or artists? Stick to what you believe in, don’t change for anyone 

Do you have any new material? Yeah our new song GRRRLS just came out on Spotify and Apple Music
