Interview with The Cheap Trick Trio

Have any of you played in other bands? Yes! We play in other side projects such a cover bands and with other artists.

How is it that you started playing music? All the 3 by passion and we are directly influenced by the people in our neighborhood.
What are your names? / Who plays what? / How old are you? We are Jesus Gutierrez (Drummer), 30 yo , Carlos Rojo (Electric bass guitar) 24 yo and me, Andoni Diaz (Electric guitar) 24 yo.
Have you had other previous members? In this project, we are the original members /founders
Did you make music even when you were young? Yes, as far as I remember since out teenager years.
Where are you from? From Tarragona, Spain
What year did the band form? In 2017
What's your style of genre? Fusion, jazz, progressive, blues, funk....
What inspires you? Personally i can remark 3 big influences in guitar, John Petrucci, Eric Johnson and Guthrie Govan, they're my ideal of playing and since I was a little boy I dream with having only a 5% of their skills hahahaha
How often and where do you reherse? Near the city center, in Tarragona
How have you developed since you started with the music? A lot! A lot of rehearsals, gigs, projects and home study intensive a lot of hours everyday.
Do you have other interests of work outside the band? Yeah, in other musical projects!
Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that? Yeah, now we are looking so far from our country, Spain and we want to play around the world if someday is possible :)
Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? By now, we don't have original music ready to be recorded, so we are chill abou this topic.
What made you decide to make this music? Our influences!
What are your songs about? As far as they are instrumental music, we leave that to the listener ;)
Have you done any covers live? Yeah, by now, all the list are covers of instrumental fusion, progressive, jazz (and so on) kind of music
What are the least and most people to attend one of your gigs? By now, we had a lot of good vibes, massive attendants!!!! 
What ages are most of your concert attendants? from 5 to 902174 ;)
Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary? They vary a little bit!
Do you have a regular place you play live often? Not by now, but interested in :)
What was your first gig like? Chaotic pleassure, I can say... I think with 15 or 16 yo
What was your latest gig? I was about 1 week!
Have you had to cancel a gig? Yes :(
Where have you played live this year? All around the hometown/city
Where do you plan to gig the comming year? In every place we can!
What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? I think that is the future. The bussiness can perfeclty co-live with the concept of the download music (legally)
How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? A lot! In a most aspects, as far as I know, today is very easy to record a disc and make it work throught the net!
What do you think of my work? I think that is very necessary and important to the music industry.
How do you think and know that this interview will help you in the music business? Maybe as an international projection ;)
Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? In the two cases wew can find a lot of interesting musical wisdom!
What have been your biggest obstacles? Myself!
What advice would you give other bands or artists? Don't leave! Fight bravely for what you think, be disciplinate, study everyday, improve as musician and grow as human.
How do you get psyched for a gig? With 2 or 3 beers... Just kidding! Mentally walk the set list!

What are your plans for the future? Play music, study music, live in the music...
