What are your names? / Who plays what? Annalisa Messina, voice, Ferdinando Ghidelli, guitar and pedal steel guitar, Peppe Vertaldi, drums, Ubaldo Tartaglione, guitar and mandolin, Donato Tartaglione, double bass

yes of course
Where are you from? South Italy
What year did the band form? The band started in 2015
What's your style of genre? Ethnic and world music
What inspires you? traditional cultures in general
How often and where do you reherse? once a week at the bass player's home
Do you have other interests of work outside the band? yes, extra musical business interests.
Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that? yes, a music agency could help us to find new engagements.
Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? no, we already have a musical label. The name is Black Tarantella.
What made you decide to make this music? we are music lovers and need to communicate through the music.
What are your songs about? lyrics inspired by the social and the various nuances of the human soul
Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? The singer Annalisa ( lyrics and melody) and Ferdinando ( arrangement and harmonization)
Do you start with the music or the lyrics? music
Do you compose in a certain inviroment? everywhere
Have you done any covers live? yes, years ago just for fun with cover bands
What language do you sing in? Italian and Neapolitan language
What are the least and most people to attend one of your gigs? rude people and lovers of good music.
What ages are most of your concert attendants? people over thirty years old
Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary? we have the same repertoire that we play in our show
What was your first gig like? in a musical review called "The art of the sacred and the profane”
What was your latest gig? in a place called "The Day Twenty”
Have you had to cancel a gig? yes, it happened to cancel some concerts
Where have you played live this year? the last was a musical review called "Happy Theatre"
Where do you plan to gig the comming year? All around. Now we are busy in a new video project to promote a new our song.
When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? we sell only our CD which bears our name "Nantiscia". People can buy this one in musical stores or on internet (amazon and other sites).
What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? dont helps musicians for sure.
How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? we think that the music industry is collapsing.

Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? definitely the old bands
What have been your biggest obstacles? to find spaces to express our music.
What advice would you give other bands or artists? always study and try to make an original path.
