How is it that you started playing music? I was interested in the metal scene at the age of 10-11 and started my own fanzine, a year from that we started Festerday - and here we are, still.

What are your names? / Who plays what? / How old are you? Who plays and what in Havoc Unit is not of relevance. HU consisted of people from And Oceans & Rotten Sound & The Sin: Decay + Solefald, no Xivic, Strom.ec etc. 

Have you had other previous members? In HU, no.

Did you make music even when you were young? Yes, mainly death metal and grind core. 

Where are you from? Finland from very different areas.

What year did the band form? HU was formed in 2005 and existed for 2-3 years. We made 4 releases the same year and then called it a day.

What's your style of genre? Twisted form of death, black, industrial, noise and darkwave.

What inspires you? The gospel of humanity.

How often and where do you reherse? With HU, never.

How have you developed since you started with the music? A lot in all what comes to song writing, technical aspects, sound engineering, gear.

Do you have other interests of work outside the band? Yes, gym, swimming, hiking, literature, tattoos, food.

Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that? Not with HU.

Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? Not with HU.

What made you decide to make this music? We wanted to make an exceptional album that would fuck the basics in metal.

What are your songs about? Taboos in the society.

Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? Mainly guitarists and drummer and vocalist.

Do you start with the music or the lyrics? Usually it starts with a riff.

Do you compose in a certain enviroment? Yeah, at home :D

Have you done any covers live? We didn't paly live.

What language do you sing in? English.

What are the least and most people to attend one of your gigs? As we didn't perform live, but I'd guess metal/noise heads.

What ages are most of your concert attendants? 30+

What was your first gig like? First gig was with Festerday back in 90 or 91. It was pretty nice, and very different from the gigs of these days.

What was your latest gig? Last weekend with And Oceans in Russia, which was a blast.

Have you had to cancel a gig? Yes, due to illness.

Where have you played live this year? Finland, Russia and Estonia.

Where do you plan to gig the comming year? We have a lot of plans for Europe, USA and Japan, but booked so far a couple of festivals in Finland and Denmark.

When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? With HU = all sold out, no more merch coming up.

Where can people buy your merchandise? Second hand on ebay.

What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? Ok to me.

How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? It has changed way too much. I'm old school so don't really give a shit.

What do you think of my work? Ok I guess.

How do you think and know that this interview will help you in the music business? Not much, but always cool to answer.

Do you have any role models or idols? Billy Idol.

Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? Don't really listen to new ones, so I guess older bands then.

What have been your biggest obstacles? In my personal life I'd say my divorce. In bands...labels :D

What advice would you give other bands or artists? Stop.

How do you get psyched for a gig? Relaxing at the hotel.

Do you have any new material? Nope.

What are your web sites? We don't have any because of SoMe shit.

What are your plans for the future? To make more music with And Oceans, Khaos Nihil and Festerday.
