Stone Dead Forever – The Ultimate Motorhead Tribute band;  LoveBone
Plus trying to finish up my Roy Coston solo CD! ‘IF IT AINT LOUD; IT AINT RIGHT!’
How is it that you started playing music? Well you have to remember the time period, The 70’s.. So I would have to go with David Cassidy from the Partridge Family and The Monkees.. Then my musical journey grew from there.
What are your names? / Who plays what? / How old are you?
My name is Roy Coston I am 55 years young.
Current lineup of LoveBone
Roy Coston~ Guitarist, Chuck Heath ~ Vocalist
Joseph Reppert ~ Bassist, Ian Evans ~ Drummer
Have you had other previous members? Yes, previous members from Foghat, The Outlaws, Savoy Brown & Alice Cooper
Did you make music even when you were young? Yes, we tried. We had to use our imagination, jamming to the AM Radio, pretending to have concerts..   When I started playing, I took lessons, my parents were very supportive. I played in High School Bands, Chorus, Mixed Chorus, Orchestra {when my reading was very good and used to dub the violin lines} played parties, banquets, and 4 sets a night.
Where are you from? Oneida NY USA
What year did the band form?
August 2002, Roy Coston and Chuck Heath initially conceived LoveBone.
It quickly developed a respectable following, winning over audiences and in 2004, clinched the WOUR 96.9 Battle of the Bands.
The name LoveBone did not just pop up. It came from the Poison song, "I Hate Every Bone in Your Body but Mine".
What's your style of genre? 80’s classic/glam Rock
What inspires you? EVERYTHING! When the mood strikes.  Someone may say something, or I hear a certain phrase.  All hours of the day and night. I have a note book by the bed.

Do you have other interests of work outside the band? My wife and I do a lot for the Local Community of Oneida and many of us try to make our City a better place. We support and help our Local Post 169,  Oneida American Legion  and try to take care of our VETERANS!
So to make a difference, please support your local communities.
Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that? Yes, we are always looking help with booking shows, since we are pretty much self-sufficient.
As long as we are able to play decent clubs. The days of walking into the front door of a club and the first thing you smell is the bathroom, we do not want to play there.
Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that?
Yes, I am looking for a label. At this point, I cannot financially release everything myself.
Some independent labels, we were dealing with, treated very well. Others took the money they owned us and ran.
What made you decide to make this music?
Well it was the bands, songs and imagery.
Again you have to remember the time period of the 70’s, we had 3 channels at the time, and  Don Kirshner's Rock Concert, The Midnight Special.
