Rossana Cavallotto - Vocals

Urban Granbacke – Guitars / synthesizers

Sebastian Karlsson – Bass

Have you had other previous members? No, we are the original members.

Where are you from? Rossana is from Asti (Italy) but now lives in Borås, Sweden. The rest of the band lives in Luleå, Sweden.

What year did the band form? 2017

What's your style of genre? Symphonic metal

What inspires you? That´s a tough question. We all have our own way/thing(s) to get inspired.

Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that?

Not at the moment.

We think that is a good idea. They have more rutine and are more ”up to date” how to do tours and things like that.

Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that?

Yes, we are looking for a label.

For our first album we had the support of BDpop.

What are your songs about? There is no theme through our songs. One song is a poem, one is about different people way to find inspiration, one is about the feelings and thoughts when you loose someone you love.

Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? Everyone are a part of the composing in one way or another. Urban does all of the foundations to all the songs and Rossana does most of the lyrics and vocal melodies. Christian finds the best grooves for each part of the song to make it not as ”copy/paste” feeling and so on. In our opinon it´s just make sense that, for example, the drummer does his thing. Why shall someone that does not play the drums tell the drummer what to play?

Do you compose in a certain inviroment? We all do our own thing on our own. Then we share it with the others to discuss if it´s ok or how to make it better.

Have you done any covers live? No, not yet.

What are the least and most people to attend one of your gigs? Around 80-100 poeple

What ages are most of your concert attendants? 20-40 years old

Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary? We only have one album so far, so we play the same songs.

Do you have a regular place you play live often? We are kind of a new band, so we have not played thet much live yet. But try to play wherever we can find a show.

What was your first gig like? We where kind of nervous and excited. ”What where the crowd going to think about us?” Questions like that where in our minds, but it was an amazing show. We got great reviews.

What was your latest gig? It was in ”Lillan” in Luleå, Sweden.

Where have you played live this year? Only in Sweden, but we are looking for show all over the world.

When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? No merch so far, but we are disscusing about it.

What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? The music business are expensive. Most things cost a lot of money and bands/artists don´t get payed much for albums, shows, tours, merch and so on. Most bands/artists have a ”regular job” to be able to do music. We are no exception. For us it´s ok to download our music to have a listen. If you don´t like it, delete it. But if you like it we would appreciate if you later on buy it. We understand that we might never be able to make a living out of music only. But when people support us or any other band/artist to pay for the music, it´s make much more easier for us to keep going.

How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? The bad part is that it´s harder to finance the music, so you migh stop making music. The good part is that more people can listen to the music, and hopefully in the end come to see the shows and buy merch.

What do you think of my work? It´s clear that you have a huge passion for music, so we hope you all the best that you will follow your dream to become the photographer/journalist that you want to be.

How do you think and know that this interview will help you in the music business? We hope that there is someone out there that will like what we do through this blog.

Do you have any role models or idols? We look up to all people that do their best to make this world to be a better place.

Why do you think that they exist? Because there is a lot of good people out there that fight for their cause.

Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? For us it´s both

What have been your biggest obstacles? ”Grown up problems”. We all have jobs, school, familys and so on that takes a lot of time due to natural reasons. And because of that we can´t spend as much time to the music as we want. But we do our best and do the most of the time that we have.

What advice would you give other bands or artists? Respect each other within the band and other bands/artists. Don´t bully other bands/artists just because you don´t like their music. If you like it, support it. If you don´t like it, turn away.

Do you have any new material? We have a lot of non released music. We are currently working on a new album.
