interview with Beyond This

What´s the name of your band? Beyond This
How was the band formed? All of the members are best friends and we all listened to metal growing up, so we just decided to start a band and make music.
Can you tell about your band? Formed in 2013. Mixing all aspects of music to make a new sound in metal.
Where are all band members from?/Who does what in the band? Reidsville, North Carolina; Tyler - Vocals, Rey - Lead Guitar, Taylor - Rhythm Guitar, Corey - Bass
What was the ambitions of the band when you started? To create music we all enjoyed and share it with those who want to hear it.
Could you explain your music to someone that haven't heard you? Metalcore packed with solos, duals and cleans.
Who writes your songs?/Who writes the music who writes lyrics? We all pitch in about equally with everything. It's a group effort.
What's good/bad with the band?/What genre do you feel you are? The sound of the music is something different. Not many metalcore bands employ solos and duals. It's hard to narrow us to one sound, so we just call ourselves metal.
Do you write your own material or mainly covers? We write our own.
Have you made any albums?/If yes what are they? No albums, but our debut single, A King in Hell, is coming out November 7th!
Do you have any clips on YouTube? Yes, a teaser for our upcoming song This is also where our debut single can be found when it releases. Our YouTube channel is:(https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6D6ccIhRa2EAy2iBxVqzDw)
At what age did you start playing? Rey started about two-three years ago. Taylor grew up on guitar. Tyler started vocals about four years ago. Corey has been playing bass for about five-six years.
What year was the band started? 2013
What are the plans for the rest of the year? Writing and recording!
What are your goals with your music? To create something new and something that people enjoy.
What are your sources of inspiration? Personal events, the media, human emotions, stuff like that.
How do you feel about the downloading of music instead of buying albums? We don't really care how you get the music, just that you get it, but we all would like as many people as possible to buy it, because not buying the material doesn't support the artist.
Have you been part of any other projects? We were all in a band called Perpetual Agony before Beyond This.
How important are your fans? Very important! They're the reason we're here right now.
Name 1 of your own songs you like at the moment? A King in Hell
Do you have any webpages? Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/BeyondThisOfficial?ref=bookmarks, Twitter: https://twitter.com/BeyondThisBand
How would you describe your sound in one sentence: Asking Alexandria, Avenged Sevenfold, and Suicide Silence had a kid and they named it Beyond This
