Have any of you played in other bands? Yes, A.G.F. Foncier and collapsed system.
How is it that you started playing music? For the first time I saw a EBM Band (Nitzer Ebb) playing live on stage, I was blasted away by the power of this music and had to start making EBM music.
What are your names? / Who plays what? / How old are you? Holger and Matze. Holger = Voice + Lyrics , Matze =Synthies, Akkordeon.
Have you had other previous members? No, not in BLITZMASCHINE.But we also have an additonal live member on drums : Rudolph Naomi (ex KMFDM)
Did you make music even when you were young? We are young!
Where are you from? Hamburg, Germany

What inspires you? Life, love, sex, violence and politics
How often and where do you reherse? Oh, when we have live dates we go in a separate rehearsle room a few times.
How have you developed since you started with the music? That must the listener decide.

What are your songs about? It´s about all things that moves us and we hope the people can manage with our themes.
Have you done any covers live? Yes, not only live. We released also a cover of DAF (Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft) – Liebe auf den ersten Blick as our
first single.
What language do you sing in? German, English, Spanish.
What ages are most of your concert attendants? Wow! I think its a good mixture of ages.
Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary? We vary, we try to.
Do you have a regular place you play live often? No, not really. We usually play more often in our hometown, but that´s not surprising.
What was your first gig like? It was on the Pluswelt Festival in Cologne (Germany), ... a first one in 2010...
What was your latest gig? Our last gig was in March 2015, we supported AND ONE in Madrid (Spain). No, in Hamburg in June with SPETSNAZ from Sweden.
Where have you played live this year? In Barcelona, Madrid and Hamburg.
When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? Depends on the venue. Besides CD´s, we have T-shirts and stickers.
Where can people buy your merchandise? They can buy it in all known online stores, but specially our merchandise you can order at www.poponaut.de
What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? It depends on, if they download them officially (paid) or not...
Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? If something catches you, its not important if its old or new.
Do you have any new material? Our current album “Turbine” is still hot!
