What´s the name of your band? Project 9

How was the band formed? Stu advertised locally to start up a punk/rock band. Braggy, Bob and Alan soon got in touch and the rest is history.

Where are all band members from?/Who does what in the band?

We are all from North West Cumbria in the Uk.

Andrew Bragg - Vocals

Stewart Todhunter - Guitar

Bob Nichol - Guitar

Alan Kerr - Bass

What was the ambitions of the band when you started? Our ambition is to just write some catchy ska/punk/rock that hopefully people will enjoy. As long as we are having a bit of fun that's all that matters.

Could you explain your music to someone that haven't heard you? Catchy punk rock with plenty of punch and up strokes!

Where was your first gig? Whitehaven Civic Hall

Where was the latest gig? O'Neills bar in Preston, UK

Who writes your songs?/Who writes the music who writes lyrics? Usually Stu, Bob or Alan have a idea or riff, then the band expand on that and try and structure everything. Then we record a demo, give it to Braggy who comes back with the lyrics.

Who has the best since of humor in the band? Alan. As he is the dad of the band hes always getting ripped about his age so he can take it but give plenty back.

What's good/bad with the band?/What genre do you feel you are? We class ourselves as Punk/rock/ska

Why did you pick that particular style?/What are your songs about? We have played in that many bands, I think we have covered just about every style possible. so ska/punk was the only one left.

Do you write your own material or mainly covers? We mostly do original. but throw the odd cover in

Have you made any albums?/If yes what are they? We have one album out at the moment called 'Story of our youth'

What year was the band started? 2012

Best/worst gig you've played? They are all always a pleasure to play. We just have fun whether its to few hundred or to no one (which has happened before)

What places will you be playing in in the imidate future? Local & most of UK.

How do you get psyched up for a gig? A few real ales usually does it.

What are your sources of inspiration? Girls, other bands, people we hate

How important are your fans? Without them there would be no point.

Name 2 of your own songs you like at the moment? The Game and Futile.

What are the biggest obstacles for a band? Trying to all get on......if you want to ruin a good friendship.......join a band! haha
