Have any of you played in other bands? Seth Aum Xul is vocal in GOAT SERPENT and now he’s working in a new project named NECRO. ED. Thorn is drummer in VERMINOUS and BLOOD WORK (venezuela). I am Guitar/Vocal in THEURGIA and Bass/Vocal in SEASON OF GRIEF.
How is it that you started playing music? When i was 14 years old, I changed a valued thing for a Guitar with an old friend. In that moment i just began to play in a garage band named KAOS. Maybe in the year 2000 more or less.
What are your names? / Who plays what? / How old are you? Ranndy Garcia (Daemonae), I’m Guitar player in FUNEBRIA and i have 29 years
Have you had other previous members? We had many past members. Nemesis (Drums), Holocausto (Drums), Addu (drums) Tennebral (Vocal) Aissiciar (Bass), Blood Thannathos (Guitar), Samech (Guitar), Hex Xezbet (Guitar).
Did you make music even when you were young? I'm doing music since age 14. since I had my first guitar
Where are you from? im from Maracaibo – Venezuela.
What year did the band form? Maybe in the middle of August of 2004
What's your style of genre? A Killer Black Death Meta
What inspires you? Things like MUSICK and PHILOSOPHY and the Fucking humanity
How often and where do you reherse? 2 days per Month and we rehearsal in a local Recording Studio.
How have you developed since you started with the music? the development of the band has been abruptly sensational from my point of view. I can reliably say, we have overcome in all areas
Do you have other interests of work outside the band? We are working in another bands but never displace our first thing. FUNEBRIA.
Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that? We are working now with an a Russian Label named SATANATH RECORDS. A serious man. Any help is acceptable as long as it is in favor of the band of course.
What made you decide to make this music? The power in ever riff’s, the drums brutality and all the lyrics
Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? I'll take care of the composition and Seth Aum Xul of Lyrics.
Do you compose in a certain inviroment? Sure, I have a small anecdote. I usually compose my lines when it is late at night. When I'm falling sleep
Have you done any covers live? Venom – Black Metal, Behemoth – Conquer all
What language do you sing in? English, Spanish, Italian and Latin
What ages are most of your concert attendants? Maybe 500 or 800 demons!.
Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary? It depends on the concert and the time we have available, 7 or 9 songs.
Have you had to cancel a gig? Due to illness that didn't allow us to play. We hate to cancel gigs
Where have you played live this year? Due to extensive work on our new album, Our last show Was in September 26th, 2014
When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? We are selling a digital stuffs in our BANDCAMP. But in this moment we dont have anything to sell. the new album is Coming and we are producing some new merchandis with the old albums, new album and t-shirts. https://funebriaband.bandcamp.com

What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records nowadays? Today, Internet is a great boost for the underground music, in all areas. but like everything Has its pros and cons. This is a great contrast, It's the cancer of the support given by the internet.

How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? Of course!, It's a big mistake by people that affects the industry, iIf people usually rather free-downloading albums instead of buying, you, as a musician, have to createa big barrier to allow future releases.

What do you think of my work? It’s a good work demon, keep it working like this

Do you have any role models or idols? Maybe, i think not. Cuz our seal is.. “Kill your idols, and become them.”

Why do you think that they exist? Well, idols exist. That's why there's dumb people in the streets preaching explained stuff by some other people that take money out of their ignorance

Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? Only old is the cult!, is the real school!.

What have been your biggest obstacles? Money, The economic situation in our country is depressing.

What advice would you give other bands or artists? If I have one to say, It would. “Always make music for you, not for others!” If someone loves your music, then you are doing the right thing

How do you get psyched for a gig? With alcohol!.

Do you have any new material? we have a new album DEKATHERION, It will soon be release by an european label.
