Did you make music even when you were young?
No, I made my first song in 2008.

Where are you from? We are from Tromsø, Norway.

What year did the band form? Dienamic formed in 2009 under a different name, and switched in 2010.

What's your style of genre? People have get as close as calling it 'Groov Death Thrash Core', he he.. We call it ''Arctic Death Thrash''

What inspires you?

Heavy music i guess, I realy hate that question, cause i alway wind up thinking about it for days afterwords.
One thing that will always inspire me is old school thrash bands.
I have to use the frase, i dont look for inspiration, inspiration finds me. I can get inspired by anything actually. A tv show, a book, movie, happenings in life.

How often and where do you reherse? The band practice minimum twise a week. But me personaly, i practice every day.

How have you developed since you started with the music? I didnt learn a bunch of cover songe in the beginning. I just learnd some cool riffs and started make own music right away.
You can say that my main guitar inspiration comes from James Hetfield, Mark Morten and Dime.

Do you have other interests of work outside the band? We all have day jobs. Buss driver, car mechanic etc.

Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that?

Yes we are looking for managent partner and booking all over the world.
To have more time to make music and focus on that we need partners that can take care of other admin work tasks.

Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? No, we are signed by Worm Hole Death (IT)

What made you decide to make this music? Because i love the sound of aggressive music, but it also have room for the melodic parts that i like.

What are your songs about? Rebellion, personal issues and feelings, war, political and socially conscious themes.

Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? Until now i have written the most of the music ideas and lyrics.
But in the process of making the arrangements and lyrics complete, the whole band has played an important role.

Do you start with the music or the lyrics? Depends, if i have a specific idea for a lyric i can start to make the music fit the feelings that surrounds the idea. But for the most part i write the music first the lyrics come on top of that.  Now days Gustav takes as much responsibility for getting the lyrics down as i do.

Do you compose in a certain inviroment? No.

Have you done any covers live? Some Lamb Of God and local stuff. Can't brag on this one.. hehe

What language do you sing in? English

What ages are most of your concert attendants? 25-30

Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary? We very, but for one tour we have a main set, if we want change some song. We always change the set for different tours.

Do you have a regular place you play live often?

Bastard in Tromsø has been our play ground.
Zadar in Croatia.
Second time in Japan in September 2015.
Rest of the places we have only been to once.

What was your first gig like?

Thrilling and exciting. But it sucket big time, know one was knowing what they where doing except the drummer we had at the moment.
We looked like we looked like douchebags and sounded like two wet male cats rawling at eachother in a back alley.

What was your latest gig? Our last gig was our release party on 'Afterlife' at Studenthuset Driv in Tromsø.
Sold out show, it was our best show in our home town to date.

Have you had to cancel a gig? No, we have never cancelled a gig.

Where have you played live this year? Norway, Hungary, Slovenia, Germany, Poland, Bosnia, Croatia and Czech Republic.

Where do you plan to gig the comming year? We are doing a Scandinavian tour in November. After that we will start the making of our new record. We wil be stationed in Gothenburg from October 2015.
So 2016 will be dedicatet to the local scene.

When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? We have t-shirt, hoodies and cds. Started in 2012 with sales.

Where can people buy your merchandise? It can be purchased through our website www.dienamic.no/stor and at our shows. Cds is out ther on the world wide web.

What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records nowadays? I think Its cool. The only issue that need to be solved in the music industry is how bands gonna make money.
If musicians dont earn any money, ther is no money. Who is gonna pay the booking agency, the managments, the PR firms etc.

How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? I think they have slep through it. And now they have the long hard way back. Instead of being a part of the change back in the 90s they let the privat market take control.
If the industry had own their own digital distribution system they would have control of the market and the money.

What do you think of my work? I think you are doing a great job, you contribute to help musichians and bands and it is fucking awesome.
Stay on it:)

How do you think and know that this interview will help you in the music business? I hope we can get professional player on the team to kick the band up a level or two. Get some new fans and more people to get drunk with on our live show.

Do you have any role models or idols? James Hetfield (Metallica) and Lemmy Kilmister (Motorhead).

Why do you think that they exist? Because of their attitude, music and their passion for the life as a touring artist brings.
And the most important of all, not giving up on your dream. Instead, embrace it and give it all you got.

Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? As i said earlier, it depends on what you are looking for. If you look for a more modern rhythmical section it is better to listen to Gojira that Megadeth.

What have been your biggest obstacles? The whole admin part of running a band.

What advice would you give other bands or artists?

Make sure to have people around you that are hundred percentage on the same walve link as you.
Make music you belive in. Sell it with all your heart, get a job and put money in the band.
And be willing to learn stuff that isnt playing the instrument.
And get out there and tour.

How do you get psyched for a gig? I am always psyched for a consert.

Do you have any new material? We just released our second full lenght album 'Afterlife' so now we just have some bacic ideas for new songs.
