interview with Disillusioned Motherfuckers

What is the name of your band? Disillusioned Motherfuckers
What made you to be baptized to just "Disillusioned Motherfuckers"? The name describes what we are and it contains “Dis” which is kinda popular in Hardcore Punk scene even though we do not play Dis-Core/D-Beat.
What made you start playing music? When we started the band everyone except me (Günni, voc.) had been
playing in several bands before. The reasons for the other members to start playing music some day doesn’t seem too special to me, just for fun and to express themselves.
What made you start a band? When Kai (guit.) had left his old band and moved to Hamburg he wanted to start something new and made an announcement in a Punk forum. Since I already knew him from his former band and I had the idea to test myself as some kind of shouter, I contacted him and we decided to try something together. We gathered some guys we knew and finally found our line-up of people who like our kind of music and are really interested in the band.
What was the plan when you started the band? For Kai it was to do some harder music than before and for me it was to express my negative feelings about this and that.
When did you start off band? First rehearsals and tests we already started in fall 2011 but when our former drummer went away and we lost our rehearsal room, we had to put the band on hold for some months and search for another drummer. When we found Chrischan (who also plays for HAMBURGER ABSCHAUM) we also got another room and started anew in April 2012.
Where have you played from 2011 to 2013?
We played our first gig in October 2012 at the “Wagenplatz Rondenbarg”
in Hamburg. Further gigs took place in Ennepetal (near Hagen), at the
“Gaußplatz” (Hamburg), in Wedel (Schleswig-Holstein), at the unofficial
Punk part of the yearly Harbour’s Birthday in Hamburg and in
“Hillewood”, Bielefeld. We haven’t played in foreign countries yet.
Where were off last gig? It was September 2013 in Bielefeld at the “Hillewood” project together with HAMBURGER ABSCHAUM and 5 DOSEN GUTE LAUNE.
Each was led most promising gig? Every gig has been fun but to play at the Harbour’s Birthday was really  something special to me. It’s a pity that Chrischan couldn’t play drums there and our second guitar player Mike had to. Luckily, that improvisation seemed to work somehow. Bielefeld has been also great because it was our first gig with a second guitar.
How many people usually come to your gig? It depends on where we play, on the promotion, on the other bands. Usually it’s a two-digit number.
Where do you plan to play the rest of the year? On November 1st we play in Magdeburg with PROJEKT PULVERTOASTMANN in a squat and on December 6th at the dignified Lobusch in Hamburg with WWK and ARGH! FUCK! KILL!
What you drive for music style? It should be Hardcore Punk. We like to call it Hatepunk. ;)
What made you start with just "MOTHERFUCKIN HATEPUNK"? We chose this term because it kinda fits with the music and the lyrically content.
What are your songs about? Mainly negative things, personal struggles and negative emotions as well as social issues. It’s about fucking up in a fucked up world. I use these songs as an outlet for my rage, for bad feelings etc.
Do you own songs or covers?

Mainly own songs, but we got “Les Rebelles” by the French band Bérurier
Noir in out set. Our French bass player Stef sings this one.  Stef also
brought “Cop Killing Day” from his former band SCHÖNES GLATTES FELL
which has never been released. We overworked the song and keep playing it.
Who writes the songs? / Who does the music? Usually it’s me who writes the lyrics and the other band members come along with the music.  In most cases, first there is a text or a guitar riff.
Who has the best humor? I often laugh my ass off because of Kai!
Good and bad sides of the band?
Good sides: It’s fun, everyone’s motivated and we aren’t too misanthropic yet not to like each other.
Bad sides: This is nothing for the public.
What are your web pages?
www.facebook.com/dmfpunk
disillusionedmotherfuckers.bandcamp.com
Where are you from? Hamburg, Germany
What is your name? / Who plays what? / How old are you?
Günni, voc., too old to die young
Kai, guit., too drunk to die old
Stef, bass, old fart
Chrischan, drums, even older fart
Mike, guit., old but fitter than the rest
What are your role models before? We do not really have some but maybe we sound like somewhere between
CANALTERROR and SHEER TERROR.
What inspires you? Experiences.
Where is most common that you play? It’s “common” for us to play at small venues, “Wagenplätzen”, squats (or  ex-squats) and similar D.I.Y. and non-commercial projects and that’s exactly what we like and want to.
What are your plans for the future? We record songs for some split EP’s, write some more songs, would like  to play some more gigs and not to die too early.
