Have any of you played in other bands? Yes, we most do as a part time when it is needed.
How is it that you started playing music? Our band "Illuxion of Death" started as a single project to our Lead guitar and Me in 2003. And we began playing live shows under the name of Surefooted.

Have you had other previous members? Yes, our lead guitar, bassist and drummer
Did you make music even when you were young? Yes, when i am 16-18 yrs old.
Where are you from? We are a collection of India & Myanmar.
What year did the band form? 2003
What's your style of genre? Trash, Rock and Metal
What inspires you? Am inspired by God's word and his creation, that he gave his only begotten son to save a sinner like me, If it wasn't for him I would not be the person who I am right now. Well, he has shown me how to sing,love, cherish and care.
How often and where do you rehearse? Once in a month and and we play out twice or thrice a month, We rehearse at my house or the drummer's place, so it's not a hassle getting together (we keep gear at each other's houses too).
How have you developed since you started with the music? The level of development begins just after our first single music video, which gaves us new idea and become a better musicianship with more confidence.
Do you have other interests of work outside the band? Of course or maybe, but not now; can't say what will happen later.
Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that? Yes and we are already with gigstart and musolist.
Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? Yes, in the future.
What made you decide to make this music? To entertain ourself and especially to those people who love music.
What are your songs about? Our songs is mostly about one life experienced & what comes in mind.
Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? I do the composing and writes the lyrics.
Do you start with the music or the lyrics? I started with the lyrics.
Have you done any covers live? Yes a lot's.
What language do you sing in? English and my native language.
What are the least and most people to attend one of your gigs? We've nearly about 20-35 gigs till now and 30-70 people used to attend the gigs.
What ages are most of your concert attendants? Ages between 16-65 (young and old).
Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary? Not the same, varies and accordingly.
Do you have a regular place you play live often? Yes before but now moving from one place to another.
What was your first gig like? It was a mix of good and bad. The first half had very less people, the second half went well with some friends coming in and some other fans as well.
What was your latest gig? At Farzi Cafe, Gurgaon, India.
Have you had to cancel a gig? Yes, we have had a gig cancelled.
Where have you played live this year? In India.
When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? Next year and our upcoming Album CD/DVD.
Where can people buy your merchandise? Through our facebook pages, email and our site.
What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? Let any person stream/upload what ever they want but only after the artists and bands get their capital/budget atleast something from their hardwork, sweat and times.
How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? I have nothing to say much. The pervasive presence of music streaming completely changed the music industry by let the people dowloading it free without buying in from the merchandise/market. So, what the Music industry needs to change is the contextual element.
What do you think of my work? We always welcome and happy to see someone like you who is interested in giving his/her own precious time

How do you think and know that this interview will help you in the music business? It gave me more confidence and will also help expose us to a bigger audience.
Do you have any role models or idols? Yes, Bonjovi, Defleppard, James Hetfield and Axl Roses.
Why do you think that they exist? They exist so i became a singer like them today.
Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? I will say Older bands.
What have been your biggest obstacles? My biggest obstacles is finding reliable band members, Maintaining energy, Building support, Avoiding distractions and Staying motivated.
What advice would you give other bands or artists?
If you�re not making mistakes, you�re not trying hard enough So, when you�re practicing, see if you can change your perspective.
Look at it as an experiment. try something in a different way less tension, less effort, less worry and let yourself sound bad.
How do you get psyched for a gig? I shake, freak out, get nervous and wish i wasn't there but after playing one song i have a blast. lol
Do you have any new material? We have a full length album that will be released next year 2017 named "Sing your Life".
