Have any of you played in other bands? Yes we are all involved in other bands too
How is it that you started playing music? It was after the first time i heard In The Sign Of Evil.I knew that day i wanted to write songs on that style so i grabbed an old guitar i found back home and started torturing the poor instrument.
What are your names? / Who plays what? / How old are you? We are all using nicknames like many of the bands that influenced us from the 80's like Sodom,Venom,Bathory etc.So i became Decapitator (Guitars,vocals) Witchkiller plays the bass and Nuctemeron pounds the drums.We are all over 30!
Have you had other previous members? Only a few until the late 90's.
Did you make music even when you were young? Sure,in fact most of the songs were written during our first years as a band.
Where are you from? Greece
What year did the band form? It was in 1997 but the band split after a couple years.We re active again since 2013.
What's your style of genre? Thrash
What inspires you? Besides music,we're inspired by slasher/horror movies,religion and human anomalies.
Do you have other interests of work outside the band? We all have our daily jobs to support our music
Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? No,we will start looking for a label or continue with our current label when our new release is ready.
What made you decide to make this music? Back in the 90's there were a few bands who indulged on the first wave of thrash metal.So the songs written were really the kind of music we wanted to hear but no one was making.
What are your songs about? Satan,death,torture and other romantic stuff like that.
Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? Up till now i'm doing all the composition of the music but on our new album the others will contribute as well.
Do you start with the music or the lyrics? There is no pattern.Usually lyrics go first or they get molded to fit on a certain song.
Do you compose in a certain inviroment? A good idea might pop up everywhere but usually the composition takes place somewhere quiet.
What language do you sing in? English
When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? Right now we have some copies of our latest album Hill Of Crosses both in cd and vinyl format.

What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? Downloading is good if you're gonna discover new bands or listen to something before you buy it but buying records is what keeps a band alive.So if you like something,buy it!
How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? Not much.They are still making money from bands though their profits are far less than they used to be.
What do you think of my work? It's always good when the underground is supported and powered by people like you and your actions so keep up the good work!
Do you have any role models or idols? Who doesn't?Gianna Michaels is the first that comes in my mind.
Why do you think that they exist? To make this world a better place i guess!
Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? Both.When you listen to new bands they are influenced by older stuff so what you really hear is their perspective on the older bands,same thing we do.But since the older bands are more into you cause of all the years you get inspired mostly by them.
What have been your biggest obstacles? Money and time-that's the biggest problems that small bands like us face.
What advice would you give other bands or artists? Make the music you would like to hear,that's all.Hardly an advice huh?
Do you have any new material? We're working on our second full album and we will probably get in the studio to record it by the end of the summer.
