interview with Kruger

How is it that you started playing music?
Gina: I've started from early childhood. My firs music instrument was domra - russian national instrument.
Flikki: During my childhood Hamer was my guitar teacher in the music scool. Of course, I've knew about KRUGER. It was the first rock music which I've ever heard. I was fall in love with Kruger's music. In 2006 I played on the flute in one song from "Bigot soul" cd. After that was a cd presentation, where I was playing, and a lot of concerts, when I took part as a photographer, video operator, roudi, the scenery maker and so on. I've spent all my childhood with KRUGER. One day in 2011 Hamer offered me to join HAMER band as bass player, and after a year I became a bass player in KRUGER. My dream came true.

Gina Rock-n-roll - vocal

Have you had other previous members?
Gina: Yes, over the long history of band the composition of participants have changed not once.
Hamer: In the history there were about 20 people, may be more. 
Did you make music even when you were young? 
Hamer: From childhood
Gina: As I've said before, from early childhood.
Flikki: All the main dreams come from childhood, especially to be a rock star. You set your favorite song as loud as you can, imagine, that you are on the stage with cool guitar in front of screaming crowds, you start to play invisible guitar, you get mad, and you're happy at this moment. So yes, music starts when you're young.

What year did the band form? Hamer: KRUGER appeared in 1989 
What's your style of genre? Hamer: Diesel-death-metal 
What inspires you?
Hamer: Life and not indifferent attitude to her.
Gina: Bright impressions and experiences
Flikki: Rock-n-roll lifestyle. Freedom, cool music, funny parties with friends, deep literature, art, unique feeling of being the part of a rock brotherhood.
How often and where do you reherse?
Gina: Quite often.
Hamer: Always different. Now we are working hard in the recording studio with our new songs.
Flikki: Regulary. It depends on the concert situation - if the consert soon - we rehearse together more often. When we record a new cd, we start to learn new material by ourselves, after that by pairs, and finally together. 
How have you develop ed since you started with the music? 
Hamer: I compose, record, give concerts all the time.
Gina: Musician are always developing. It's constant seek of something new, in first turn - inside of myself. 
Do you have other interests of work outs ide the band?
Flikki: The most of interests connected with music - for me - it's creating a scenery and costumes.
Gina: Anyway music is always my main interest. The rest depends on having free time, which is not so much.
Hamer: No
Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thou ghts around that? Hamer: We would like to connect with serious agency with full set of possibilities - from record to world tour's organisation. 
Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? Gina: As for label, we would like to cooperate with some western label.
What made you decide to make this music? 
Hamer: I was infected by the virus of success from the Greatest Rebels, Legends, who were standing at the origin.
Gina: This music is absolutely correspond with my inside world, as no one other.
Flikki: Because, to my mind, it's the most sincere, honest and bold kind of music. 
What are your songs about?
Hamer: It's about our attitude to life in different areas. Our songs are about us.
Gina: About the life without embellishment, about vital problems without makeup. However, there is a place for lyric compositions about our dreams in our art.
Flikki: About everything touches our hearts. 
Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? Gina: Leader of the band - Alexander Hamer
Do you start with the music or the lyrics? Hamer: Always different. It's more difficult, than you think. The song grows like a tree, grows and changes, accumulate power and strength. 
Do you compose in a certain inviroment? Hamer: Everywhere. The process is never stops.  
What language do you sing in? Gina: In our native - Russian 
What are the least and most people to attend one of your gigs? 
Flikki: From dozens to thousands I think.
Gina: I have a problem with it - I've never can count the quantity of people, especially if it's big fest for thousands.
Gina: Our art is interesting for people in different ages. It's about continuity, because our songs remain actual.
Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary? Flikki: If I understood you correct, we have some changes in some songs. For example, "Salute, Brotherhood" sounds different on the concert and on CD. Songs are like a living organisms. 
Do you have a regular place you play live often?
Gina: May be just our native sity. But we regularly open for ourselves some new areas, places and cities.
Flikki: Most often you can hear us in Moscow.
