Have any of you played in other bands? All the members of the band have wide experience playing with other bands, and even now the MF is not the only band we play.

How is it that you started playing music? As we were boys we dreamt of playing in the band. So growing older we did everything possible to make our dream come true.

What are your names? / Who plays what? / How old are you? Kyrill - vocals, 32. Andrey – guitars, 36. Igor – base,35. Eugene – drums, 34

Have you had other previous members? Middle Finger transformed from our former band “Inside”, so we did not have any new or previous members. Except for our base player, he used to play guitars before.

Did you make music even when you were young? Sure, everyone has composed since we were younger.

Where are you from? We came from Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. We love this city very much and believe it is the best place on Earth.

What year did the band form? 2016, which means the band is 1 year old.

What's your style of genre? Our style is formed under influence of many well-known bands like Foo Fighters, Metallica and Audioslave.

What inspires you? Our musical heroes and people who love what we do.

How have you developed since you started with the music? We continue to develop our musical skills constantly.

Do you have other interests of work outside the band? Sure, but all of these professions are connected to the music. Kyrylo teaches vocals and Eugene is engaged in Movies production.

Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? Right now we are in the process of finding a label and we are glad to hear from any of them.

What made you decide to make this music? We love the experiments and do not make any restrictions.

What are your songs about? The songs are about finding yourself in this world and about obstacles on this way.

Do you start with the music or the lyrics? Music goes first, then the vocal melody, and then the lyrics comes.

Have you done any covers live? Yes, on our latest show we played Audioslave’s “Cochise” and dedicated this to Chris Cornell.

What language do you sing in? English mostly, but we have one song in Ukrainian

What ages are most of your concert attendants? People from 16 to 40 years old.

Do you have a regular place you play live often? Our own rehearsal studio.

What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? Any kind of work should be paid, musicians spend a lot of time to create and produce music, so we think the records must be bought.

How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? The value of music has decreased.

Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? Old-school bands rule, the new bands are all the same like twins.

Do you have any new material? We are in the middle of production of our first album.

What are your plans for the future? We plan to finish the album and present it in a tour. We would love to play it in Europe.

Do you have something to add? Middle Finger! Finger UP!!!
