interview with Anal Reconstruction

Personal questions about the band and their members:
Have you played in any band before?
Previous to the start of Anal Reconstruction, I had a brief stint in a jazz ensemble called 'The Timmy Nugget Club House Band', between 2012 and 2013.
How will they do that you began to enter the field of music? My musical beginnings began with George Michael and Wham! when I was around 4/5. When I was around 8, I got into the first wave of real emo artists, like Taking Back Sunday, My Chemical Romance and so on. Come 10/11, I was getting into avant-garde artists such as Atrox and Mr. Bungle.
What's your name? / Who plays what? / How old are you?
My name is Jamie, I'm 20 and I play the flugelhorn, synthesizers and perform lead vocals. Matt is our guitarist/drummer. Jez is is in charge of our samples. Sonia performs bass. Kevin is lead guitars. Tobi is our hypeman. As of recent, original members Juan and Mikey have rejoined to perform pan-flutes and lead bass. Just the other day, Matt's brother Tim joined as our rhythm guitarist/rapper. Some people compare us to Slipknot due to our nine members system!
Have you had previous members?
Quite a few now. As previously mentioned, Mikey and Juan left for a year or two for personal reasons. Our original guitarist, Kacper left for this reason too, along with our violinist Josh, and our second drummer Mat. We've had some negative experiences with some previous members. First was our original drummer Sam, who turned out to be not very nice. Second was our replacement guitarist Joe (now in Sköll), due to him being involved with the law. Our other guitarist Bonno left last summer after an arguement. And Matt's ex, Amy, who was our French horn player left after she was a bitch.
Did you do music already when you were small?
I only learned how to play music four years ago, so not at all!
Where are you from?
I am from Plymouth in England.
What year was started the band?
We started in November 2013!
What do you play music style?
Our original style was grindcore. We moved onto blackened folk deathgrind. And now we're at what we'd call musical/avant-garde harsh noise.
What inspires you?
Mostly the music of Chuck Mangione or Mike Patton's vocal performances with John Zorn. I'm also really keen on anime OSTs.
Each repaired you?
Kevin is our tech support, so mostly by him. He uses liquid armor on all our equipment.
Do you use earplugs when you appear?
Nah, we prefer to feel the sound rupture our cochlears!
How have you evolved since you started with music? I've grown an extra toe on each hand!
Do you have any other interests or jobs outside of the band and the music?
I'm interested in avant-garde photography. Mostly if it involves vegetables in bizarre places!
Are you looking for the booking company, what are your thoughts and requirements around it then?
We do everything by ourselves. So if they day came we wanted to perform, we contact the venues themselves, and see if they want to be closed down.
Are you looking for record labels, what are your thoughts and requirements around it then?
We sent our demo to Pitbull, to see if he could hook us up with Mr. 305 Inc., and if he could feature on our debut. But no response sadly.
Questions about your music and lyrics:

What are your songs about the whole?
Our debut album is a wild concept album about surgeries, aliens and racial tension. Our second is an adventure upon the high seas with some NSFW stories on the side. Our third is a musical about beef. And the fourth is a continuation of the debut. We've just finished writing our fifth album, and it should be the best yet!
Who writes the lyrics?
Mostly me, but Matt has written a couple.
Who does the music?
Same as the above. If Matt writes the music, then he's done the lyrics too.
When you do a song, you start with the music or the lyrics?
For our albums, lyrics first. As for singles, then it's always music.
In which environment do you usually do your songs?
On my bed at 4am while listening to Chuck Mangione.
Do you play only original songs live and also covers?
We're planning on doing A LOT of covers at our live debut!
What language are you singing about?
We have a song in Mongolian, but it's mostly English!
Questions regarding your gigs and performances like:

How many have come at least to your concerts?
We've only performed once, and we had a solid 20 people or so present.
How many have come most of your concerts?
Just the 20. Although the police came. So 24?
How have you done or intend to do it to get more audience at your gigs?
We're going to push our boundaries, and be more controversial!
Which age group drawn mostly to your concerts?
40-50 years olds with families.
Where have you been playing this year?
Just the Nando's show!
Where do you have plans to play the rest of the year?
We're taking the next year off to release all five albums, but we'll be back in 2018!
Questions about your views:
What do you think about downloading more music than buying CDs nowadays?
Not much to be honest. It's being distributed in a more environmentally safe way, then so be it.
If you prefer downloaded music, cassette, CD or Vinyl?
I prefer all three. Downloaded/CD for quality. But cassettes and vinyl for warmth in sound. But vinyl DOESN'T sound better. It just feels better. There's a good 30db in difference between a FLAC file and what's pressed on vinyl.
What would you do if the music is not the fans?
Become an Easy Tech member at Staples.
What about the guards' job at your gigs and stuff?
They're usually too busy chatting up young girls anyway.
Those attending light and sound how much they have helped you really if you think about?
Never worked with them, but they're good at the shows I go to! Well done lads!
What do you think of my work?
Keep it up! Interview my other bands!
What are your role models or idols?
Chuck Mangione, Kate Bush and Tony Kaka! Also pretty keen on Daniel Lewis!
What do you think they are age limits on some concerts?
We'd accept new born babies if we could!
Why do you think they are?
Xenomorphs.
Is it easier to draw inspiration from older bands than bands that are active today?
Chuck Mangione is still alive, so sure.
What advice would you give to other bands and artists?
Hmu fam, lets collab bro!
How tags you up before a concert?
Lemon and herb chicken butterfly, and DOUBLE piri piri chips!

Do you have new material in grams?
Our untitled fifth album in the new year!
What is your website?
Our Facebook is; https://www.facebook.com/AnalReconstruction/?ref=bookmarks
How can I get you?
