Where are you from? We are all from different parts of Rome, Italy. We started playing together after many months of research for the members but we think that we have really found the chemestry that works for us!
What's your style of genre? We play Modern Metal, kind of Prog, kind of Djent, kind of something-core with both clean and harsh vocals. We also like to add some spice with a few electronic sections especially for our intros.
How have you developed since you started with the music? We grew a lot as human and as musician so our music followed our steps and became more mature, more refined. In the early years of our musical career we played a rough prog rock with alternative influences and now we took the path of a more modern sound, abbandoning some of our initial influences.
What made you decide to make this music? We didn't decide to make this particular kind of music, it's who we really are and we feel that it represents us in the best way possible. Probably we will change a bit during the years but I personally think that we have found our path.
What are your songs about? Our lyrics talk about many many topics. We go from psychological introspection to life and nature in general. we even wrote a song for a friend of ours, an mma fighter, in which we talk about his midset and his skills both as a fighter and as a fellow gym partner for all his collegues.
Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? Normally Simone writes the music with the help of everyone of us, we sit down with his ideas and we make sure that everything fits and that everything it's perfect. Andrea then jumps in and writes all the vocal lines, after that we examine the vocals. We put a lot of effort in every single note and we pay close attention to the dettails.
Do you start with the music or the lyrics? We always start with the music and then Andrea writes down lyrics according to the feelings that the music gives to him.
Where do you plan to gig the comming year? Were preparing a few mini-tours here and there and we will surely visit europe as much as possible. Who knows maybe we can even go a little further!
When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? We are designing everything and all I can say is that Gianluca Artico a great Tattoo artist is working on our shirts, I can assure you that they will be magnificent. We are also preparing hats, hoodies and a lot of cool stuff.
What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? Today people prefer to have everything on their devices, their phones, their computers and for us there's no problem about it BUT, we really think that an artist needs to be payed for his work. We also think that before buying the fan needs to hear a few samples of the music so to be sure that everything fits his taste before spending money on it.
Do you have any role models or idols? We are sef-motivated, we don't look up to others and we always try to grow as musician and as human beings but we don't have role models. We try to be better, not to be someone else.
What have been your biggest obstacles? Our biggest obstacle was to find people that really cared about music and did not put anything else on the first place. We love our families, our friends and our special ones but this is who we are, this is our dream and finding someone who belived in the same virtues as us has been difficult. Today we are stronger than ever, and more importanty DETERMINED.
Do you have any new material? We will release a new album, our first one. It will be named Black Paper and we will recording it here in Rome at Kick recording studio. Then Forrester Savell, an amazing sound tech, will help us with the mixing and mastering processes. It will sound mighty and of course it will be the start of our career.
What are your plans for the future? We plan to work in this business, we plan to live our lives the best we can, doing what we love most and that is: playing, writing, breathing, loving and listening music.
Do you have something to add? Thank you Robex for this second interview. We found amazing people in our journey so far and we really cannot be more thankful for the support, the love and the kindness that our people show us everyday. THANK YOU ALL!!!
