How is it that you started playing music?
alex: came from musical family so it was natural and heard ac/dc!
Blake: Maddy actually used to babysit his little sister so he started when she let him play her drum set.
Josh : he heard van halen for the first time and he knew he wanted to do that.
Maddy: when she was just able to talk Maddys mum played "make it real" by the old band jet from the 80s. Maddy would sing all the time and as she aged became more and interested in singing. By kindergarten she had already decided she wanted to be a singer.

Josh : guitar - 26
Alex : bass - 24
Maddy : vocals - 27
Blake : drums -22
Have you had other previous members? nope just us!
Did you make music even when you were young?
alex: he started on a guitar at age 8 but didn't get into it until 13
Josh: started playing at 12 but really into it at 14
Blake : started playing at 12, go into it at 15.
Maddy: started singing when started talking and went into lessons by age 9, grabbed a guitar at 12 and started taking things seriously at 15.
Where are you from? we are from Calgary, Alberta, Canada
What year did the band form? 2016, but Maddy and Josh began playing together in 2015.
What's your style of genre? hard rock, rock n roll
What inspires you? life experiences, the emotion u create when playing.
How often and where do you reherse? We rehearse 3 times a week in our house! We have a band house and all live together.
How have you developed since you started with the music? We have realized how important chemistry is, how to truly feel the music as apposed to just playing it. Discovered how to play and enjoy other genres. How to appreciate other artists and what goes into the music.
Do you have other interests of work outside the band? Not really. We are pretty set on being rockstars
Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that? we actually started our own, Maddy Stellar promotions. But would take the help.
Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? Yes, but we need the right one. Getting signed doesn't seem to mean as much anymore. For the right label tho, we would take a deal.
What made you decide to make this music? The lifestyle, this is the kinda music that resonates within us. It's the most expressive for us.
What are your songs about? Personal Life experiences in hopes they help other people and can connect.
Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? josh writes the guitars parts and Maddy writes the lyrics.
Do you start with the music or the lyrics? we start with a guitar riff.
Do you compose in a certain inviroment? Nope, where it feels right or when the ideas comes.

What are the least and most people to attend one of your gigs?
least : 20 ppl

What ages are most of your concert attendants? 18 and over
Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary? we vary
Do you have a regular place you play live often? morgans and verns in Calgary.
What was your first gig like? we had a lot of supporters at the best dive bar in town, and rocked the place. Got booked back!
What was your latest gig? we played a show for an alternative modelling party, that our singer also models for! Big party!
Have you had to cancel a gig? No we don't cancel gigs. We are professionals
Where have you played live this year? So many places it's hard to name them all!
Where do you plan to gig the comming year? We have lots of local shows and shows around our province, we plan on a mini tour in July and we set out across Canada on a tour from aug 2nd - aug 27th
When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? We are re branding with a new logo but should have t-shirts, booty shorts and hats again on our fb page soon!

What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? People are gunna download music whether u like it or not. It's unfortunately avoidable.
How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? the talent pool is so diluted now. No one is buying hard copies anymore.
What do you think of my work? Havent read any yet! But we would love to!

What have been your biggest obstacles? Finding sponsors and funding
What advice would you give other bands or artists? Social media is important, kept up eachother motivation, dont let a bad show bring u down.
How do you get psyched for a gig? Red bull and whiskey with a dash of tequila
