Have any of you played in other bands? Ailson: Yes, I played in one rock band named “Piolhos e Lêndeas” during five months and Rodrigo Sá (Voice) have played in one religious band during some time.
How is it that you started playing music? Ailson: I had started when I had twelve years old. I started studying with one music teacher in my city because of my curiosity for strange Brazilian Bands like a Os Mutantes, Jard’s Macalé, Som Imaginario and others.
What are your names? / Who plays what? / How old are you?
Ailson: My name is Ailson Guedes and I play electric and acoustic guitar, Rodrigo Sá is the vocalist and plays acoustic guitar, Elvis Carvalho plays cajon and percussion, and Lincoln Sales plays a bass guitar. All members have a nineteen years old, except Lincoln Sales, he has fifteen years old
Did you make music even when you were young? Ailson: Yes, i’m make music all of my time.
Where are you from? Ailson: I’m from Maragogipe town, Bahia state, country Brazil.
What year did the band form? Ailson: In the Middle of 2016.
What's your style of genre? Ailson: We don’t like of rank the band in musical genres.
What inspires you? Ailson: All sounds in the world, the sound of people, birds, urban chaos and all of others
How often and where do you reherse? Ailson: Two days in the wee
Do you have other interests of work outside the band? Ailson: Only with music.
Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that? Ailson: Maybe yes, I didn't thought about that yet.
Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? Ailson: Yes definitely, we need one label to expand the visibility of our music.
What made you decide to make this music? Ailson: Music is my lover and my religion.
What are your songs about? Ailson: Our reality, loves and the melancholy of modern times.
Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? Ailson: All members in conjunction.
Do you start with the music or the lyrics? Ailson: Melodic lines definitely.
Have you done any covers live? Ailson: Yes, a big part of our set list.
What language do you sing in? Ailson: Portuguese of Brazil and English.
What was your latest gig? Ailson: A few days ago, in one town closer of Maragogipe.
Where do you plan to gig the comming year? Ailson: We do not have plans, but we have interest to play in distant places.
What do you think of my work? Ailson: It's very cool.
How do you think and know that this interview will help you in the music business? Ailson: probably in the visibility of our band.
Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? Ailson: For me it is relatively the same.
