How is it that you started playing music? After falling in love with the metal, I decided to form my band
What are your names? / Who plays what? / How old are you? Tiago Monteiro (vocals) ; Karl Neuman (guitar) ; Madson Oliveira (bass) and Vitor Alves (drums); I (Tiago) have 23 years

What's your style of genre? Death/Thrash Metal
Do you have other interests of work outside the band? I work with a professional voice, I'm a speech therapist
Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? We are, the band is independent from the beginning. What makes it difficult to keep the band
What made you decide to make this music? Love for art, music and especially for metal
What are your songs about? This year 2017 we are releasing our first cd, called 'fire away'. With 10 songs of ours
Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? All the lyrics are made by me, the instrumental is done by the band together
Do you start with the music or the lyrics? Both, it depends on which idea comes first
Have you done any covers live? Yes, we played Sepultura, Judas Priest, Metallica, Megadeth.
What language do you sing in? English
What are the least and most people to attend one of your gigs? Something between 30 and 70 people, our underground scene is small
What ages are most of your concert attendants? Between 15 and 40
What was your first gig like? It was at university for friends, received us very well.
Have you had to cancel a gig? We never cancel, we play sick or with incomplete band, but we never canceled, not for now
When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? In 2015, at the moment we have cd's and band shirts
Where can people buy your merchandise? Our facebook. Just send a message. We send material to anywhere in the world
What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? Normal, each one consumes a product the way he thinks best
How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? I think the industry tries to focus on other ways to make money, like youtube videos. CD sales have fallen over the years
What do you think of my work? very good. The bands need this support, and I appreciate your invitation to this interview.
How do you think and know that this interview will help you in the music business? Promotion and formation of friendships. It's always good to meet new people, that's how we grow.
Do you have any role models or idols? Yes, I have many. Names like Max Cavalera, Andre Matos, Bruce Dickison, Rob Halford, Chuck 'showdinner' (haha), Dio, Quorton and so many others
Why do you think that they exist? Promotion and formation of friendships? haha! Are very talented people and have been in the right place, at the right time and with the right people for everything right**
Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? The new bands are also very good, but generally we know the style by classic bands, older bands**.
What have been your biggest obstacles? Keep the band for a few consumers, all our work is independent, we do not have much support. If we do not have a financial return the money will one day end**
What advice would you give other bands or artists? Do it for love, not just for money. If one day generating money will be a consequence. If you do it for money, there will be no real passion for music.
How do you get psyched for a gig? I'm always excited for any show, it's always a moment of extreme personal satisfaction
Do you have any new material? We are releasing our first cd this year (Fire Away - 2017), we are going to record a music video too. Soon we will release our second cd, some new songs are already finished
