Have any of you ever played in other bands? Yes. I Cicero have already played in 3 bands before the Odium. The only relevant one was Perpetual Tears. Leonardo played the Lâmia and Rodrigo only in the Odium Hominum.

When did you start playing? I've always been very connected to music. I've been playing bands for 30 years.

What are your names? Who plays what? And how old? I Cicero, I'm a bass player and vocalist of Odium Hominun. Leornardo guitarist and singer and Rodrigo drummer.

Have you had other previous mentres? Yes, other drummers.

Did you try to make music even when you were young? Yes. I always liked to write.

Where are you from? Cotia - Sao Paulo - Brazil

In what year was the band formed? The band formed in autumn 2004.

What style and genre? Death metal

What inspires you? Show our work, we done with great dedication and convey a positive message.

How many times and where do you rehearse? 2x a week at Leonardo's house, where we have a stúdio equipped.

How did you develop since you started with music? Through studies and much research.

Do you have other interests working out of the band? I already have my work out of the band and I survive it. A very serious hobby that is part of our lives.

Are you looking for a booking agency and what are your thoughts around what? Yes. We are available for any interest, because our CD is totally independent. At the moment we are focused on preparing new material for the next CD.

Are you looking for a seal? And what are your thoughts about what? We are already a seal! And we're focused on releasing our first job.

Your songs talk about what? What kind of world will we leave for our descendants and what kind of descendants will we leave to the world.

Who makes the compositions and write the lyrics? Everyone participates in the creation of the songs.

Do you start with the music or the lyrics? We start with the song although the lyrics are already ready. And we see which fits better.

Have you made all the covers to live? Yes. Play Rotting Cryst (King of stelar war), Ammon Amarth (Pusuit of vikings), Hipocrisi (Rosswell 47) and Black Sabbath (Children of grave).

What language do you sing? English.

What are the most and least people to attend one of your shows? We are only 3 members of the band and count with the participation and support of the wife of guitarist Suzi, who gives the supports in the translation of the context in the development of the letters.

How old are most of your concert attendees? Our age ranges from 25 to 50 years. Rodrigo(drummer) 25 years, Leonardo (guitarist) 40 years, Suzi (support) for 30 years and Cicero (bassist) 50 years.

Do you have a regular place where you play often? We have varied a lot. Our city is very big.

What's your latest show? We played last week at a fest with other bands.

Where do you intend to play next year? There is still much to be done. And make our band known and continue to spread our CD and future projects, according to our possibilities.

When did you start selling the merchandise and what did you for sale? We started as soon as the CD was ready in 2016. We have CDs and T-shirts.

What do you think about people who download songs instead of buying music these days? We think it varies according to the culture and need of each one. Without judging, it always has the pros and cons.

How do you think the music industry has changed because of this? We thought it was a drastic change! And it became all this very ungrateful work. Who is great remains great and who is little difilcimente becomes known. It gets saturated and we have no support from record labels.

What do you think of my work? We think it is super interesting and very important, because it takes knowledge of our work and dreams of both Odium Hominum and other bands that also fight for the recognition of the public. For it is through you that it is possible.

How do you think this interview will help in the music business? Helps a lot. Because today we need a lot of media to spread our work.

Do you have models or idols? I have no models. But short many musicians and their ideas.

Why do you think they exist? Because there are people who idolize.

Is it easier to find inspiration in older bands or bands that are more active today? In my opinion, as for example, Odium Hominum has its own sound, but it was inspired by the big names of Heavy Metal worldwide. We are a band already with 13 years, therefore, we are an active band and not very old. We are already inspiration for a new generation.

What were the main obstacles? Lack of money and support from record companies.

What advice would you give to other bands or artists? Believe in your work, perservere and fight a lot even I have many obstacles ahead. For your dreams depend on it.

How do you prepare for a show? We've been in this fight for a long time. So we are very well rehearsed and we are quiet about what we should do. That is, everything is very natural for us.

Do you have any new material? Yes. We have many things ready for a new project.
