Have any of you played in other bands? Yes, Michael still plays in a Band called “The Atrium” but they are not into Metal it´s more Rock.Me, I still play at “Black Messiah” a well-known band here in Germany but this has nothing to do with the music style of WICKED DISCIPLE

Did you make music even when you were young? Yes we all started in our early youth
Where are you from? Germany
What year did the band form? We started October 2014
What's your style of genre? Openminded Heavystuffwithout frontiers
What inspires you? Every kinda music….Metallica, Faith No More, The Beatles
How often and where do you reherse? Never…it is a studioproject only
How have you developed since you started with the music? We try improve ourselves daily
Do you have other interests of work outside the band? Reading good books, watching cool sitcoms, hearing music and going to concerts
Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that? No.We will Never play live with WICKED DISCIPLE unless someone pays 100.000 $ ;-)))
Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? We found one in Roll-The-Bones-Records, the owner is the guitarist of my former Band GREYDON FIELDS (by the way excellent kinda Metal)
What made you decide to make this music? WE LOVE MUSIC, nuffsaid
What are your songs about? Different themes like dailygrindthinks, Things which male me angry, War….or Silence like in Phobos, Deimos & Mars
Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? Most of the riffs came from me, but when I enter the studio Michael makes them even better, and arranges the stuff.The lyrics are exclusively mine.
Do you start with the music or the lyrics? It depends, but I wrote 2 Songlyrics in the period whil Michael was engeneering the sound…..
Do you compose in a certain inviroment? No..@home or @ Michaels Studio (Rock&Soul in Duisburg,Germany)
Have you done any covers live? We don´t play live but if we would I woul prefer “I don´t know” (Sacred Reich)
What language do you sing in? English

What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? You cannot stop this this is the development of the market.But deep in my heart I abuse it.Beeing a musician is not enough to earn money for your subsistence
How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? It changed EVERYTHING…..music became a fast food product.Instead of being a cultural assets – but YOU CANNOT STOP IT you have to accept it
What do you think of my work? I like and respect your work, every independent music supporter deserves highly RESPECT
How do you think and know that this interview will help you in the music business? If it achives 2 or 3 people taking a little time to discover WICKED DISCIPLE would be more than great
Do you have any role models or idols? YESS - James Hetfield (Metallica) / Bill Gibbons (ZZ Top) & Jeff Lynne (ELO)
Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? Both sides have their qualitys.
What advice would you give other bands or artists? Believe in your music,don´t make music for the market never give up and do it for the music not for the money…besides try to make music more from the heart instead of the brain
How do you get psyched for a gig? With Black Messiah…undercooked
Do you have any new material? Yes we have 7 Demos in Progress but the CD is out today…we have a little time to develop it ;-)
