Have you had other previous members? yes we actually set up a band with 4 people but not long the vocalist came out
Did you make music even when you were young? yes of course before we also had joined the band who ultimately agreed to make this band
Where are you from? We the band members, 2 from mojokerto and 1 from sidoarjo
What year did the band form? Mystism stand in may 2017
What's your style of genre? Of course Black Metal
What inspires you? Belphegor,immortal,dark funeral and many more black metal bands
How often and where do you reherse? we usually practice in LONG IT STUDIO MUSIC
What made you decide to make this music? starting with the distorted guitars of dark guitars and the added drumming of a very fast drum will make a great black metal music and one more terrible vocal cries make us more excited about making music
What are your songs about? We talk about darkness and War
Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? of course we are all personnel from the band
Do you start with the music or the lyrics? we always start with music after that it's easier to enter lyric
Do you compose in a certain inviroment? Not really usually we spontaneously find a good tone to be a song then when our practice will develop it
Have you done any covers live? Yes we usually play covers of belphegor songs such as "in blood devour this sancity" immortal "one by one"
What language do you sing in? English and indonesian
What are the least and most people to attend one of your gigs? Between 150 - 250 attendants
What ages are most of your concert attendants? between 17 and 45 years old but we are not sure because they are very much and come for the musical performances they like
Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary? we usually add a cover of 1 new song in every performance
What was your first gig like? Our first show was may last year in the little gigs in mojokerto many of which were support and the first great experience with this band
What was your latest gig? Our last performance was 2 weeks ago, we played in surabaya jamming season and at the same time there was band from malaysia that is mystic and as sahar who was tour
Have you had to cancel a gig? Yes it happened just yesterday because there is something that is not in want and we deeply regret it
Where have you played live this year? For the moment we only played live 4 times and all the times in indonesian east java
Where do you plan to gig the comming year? Our plan is can play all around in east java gigs
When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? We started a last month we have a T-shirt
Where can people buy your merchandise? In fans page on the facebook of course
What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? I think people should buy original song for support the band rather than downloading band's unfavorable music altogether
What do you think of my work? my opinion about your work is incredible because you can help the band to be better known by many people
How do you think and know that this interview will help you in the music business? of course with this interview they can go to our fanspage and listen to our music
Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? I think it's easier to find inspiration through old bands because the music is more natural and very good to be the inspiration to make a song
What have been your biggest obstacles? the constraint is that there is rarely time to gather between personnel
How do you get psyched for a gig? usually before the gig we prefer to pray and see big bands like immortal and others and sometimes imitate their style on stage
