Have any of you played in other bands? All our members of CHAOSBEING have played in others bands. currently our drummer Bryan is in 3 gigging bands.
How is it that you started playing music? Just like every other kid out there we were influenced by our favorite music
What are your names? / Who plays what? / How old are you? Bryan- drummer. Leigh -lead guitars and vocals. Johnny- Bass. Jason- Rhythm guitars
Have you had other previous members? All 4 members are original members when CHAOSBEING formed and Started.
Did you make music even when you were young? Yes.
Where are you from? All members were born in Canada, Calling Calgary Alberta our home.
What year did the band form? Feb 2016
What's your style of genre? Thrash, melodic, speed, heavy, just your typical heavy metal band
What inspires you? Life experiences, tv and film. Current news.
How often and where do you reherse? Twice a week and at a place called Airdrie.
How have you developed since you started with the music? Becoming better players as well as learning and doing the business side of being in a band.
Do you have other interests of work outside the band? Family, having fun in general.
Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that? Anyone who would be happy to work with us to get more gigs, we would be glad to work with. Booking Agency's are great!
Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? Havent started looking for a label just yet
What made you decide to make this music? Its fun!!
What are your songs about? Life experiences, tv and film, current events and news.
Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? All four members take part in writing, composing, and arranging.
Do you start with the music or the lyrics? Either or. doesnt matter.
Do you compose in a certain inviroment? Where ever, we dont need "Certain Environments" to compose in. Put pen to paper, put instruments to record.
Have you done any covers live? Yes
What language do you sing in? English
What are the least and most people to attend one of your gigs? 2 least. 200 Most
What ages are most of your concert attendants? 20-40s
Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary? Varies once in awhile
Do you have a regular place you play live often? Distortion and Verns. At least 4-5 times a month.
What was your first gig like? Fantastic
What was your latest gig? A huge Success.
Have you had to cancel a gig? No.
Where have you played live this year? All over Alberta.
Where do you plan to gig the comming year? We plan to do more out of town shows, hopefully next year we go international playing shows.
When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? As soon as the band started we had merchandise. we have the following for sale. Shirts, hoodies, mouse pads, buttons, stickers, USB sticks, mugs, Hats, and kids clothing.

What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? Its fine.
How do you think and know that this interview will help you in the music business? I,m not sure it will. we are just glad to tell our story of Chaosbeing!
Do you have any role models or idols? (Jason answering) For me its my dad, he comes out to alot of our gigs to film and record our shows, he also fixes our gear when it needs fixing or modifying. Musically Cliff Burton is my idol
Why do you think that they exist? For younger people to succeed.
Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? Both
What have been your biggest obstacles? Juggling a family life and being in a band.
What advice would you give other bands or artists? Dont give up, treat being in a band like a second job or your first job, network alot, go out to see lots of other bands, and most of all have fun, if your not having fun your doing it wrong.
How do you get psyched for a gig? Think about our previous successful gigs.
Do you have any new material? Being recorded later this year.
