interview with Mysteria Mortis
Have any of you played in other bands? Hello! No, we are all play only in our progressive folk metal band Mysteria Mortis.
How is it that you started playing music? We think, that it was like with others band - we just start to listen metal and rock, and wanted tro try ourselves in this way also)
What are your names? / Who plays what? / How old are you?
Mysteria Mortis band included - Annet Ignis - vocal, Nikita Tetetin - back vocal, compositor, guitars, Arseniy Fartishev - drummer, Valery Bondarenko - bas, and we also have keyboard and second guitar, but they are new guys and we could tell about them later.
Have you other members of band? Yes, we have boss and manager of our band. - Jorgen Illman, he is from Finland, He care about our European deals and toures and he also sing in finnish band "Sielunrepija"
Did you make music even when you were young? Yes! and some of us still young now, our guitarist is only 23 years old)
Where are you from? We are from Far East of Russia near the China) yes, it's so fucking far!)
What year did the band form? 2011
What's your style of genre? Progressive folk metal
What inspires you? Vikings, Celts, Old Gods, Myph and legends, magic and witchcraft)
How often and where do you reherse? twice ot three times in week in our own rehearsal studio in hometown)
How have you developed since you started with the music? Oh, it was very long way with falls, errors and wins)
Do you have other interests of work outside the band? Yes, Annet is teacher of voice, Nikita is journalist, Arseniy is scientist of geography!)
Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that? We already have a manager, who makes nice Europe toures for us, also we play in Russia, China and other countries)
Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? we have Morehate production label, also we work with FONO and Art of Dream (America)
What made you decide to make this music? of course, it was our love of music!)
What are your songs about? About power, about freedom, about ancient Gods and tradition, about loves and humans problems.
Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? Nikita Tetetin makes music, but Annet writtes a texts)
Do you start with the music or the lyrics? No, we starts from music... and only after music Annet starts to write lyrics.
What language do you sing in? Russian, English, Norsk.
What are the least and most people to attend one of your gigs? Most was in open airs, and most in Russia, Estonia, Poland... The least was in Finland, in Lapinjarvi town, because at this town lives only about 3000 people :)
What ages are most of your concert attendants? Our fans could be other wages - from 14 ton 50)
Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary? We are vary like other big bands.
Do you have a regular place you play live often? We prefer to travel in whole world.
What was your first gig like? It was long time early in our hometown.
What was your latest gig? Latest gig was in april 22 in Vantaa (Finland)
Have you had to cancel a gig? Yes, it was in Chinese tour once.
Where have you played live this year?
We playd in Moscow, Petersburg, Lapinjarvi, Porvoo, Estonia - Tallinn, and Vantaa (Finland)
But in 2017 it was big European tour with Poland, Latvija, Finland, Lithuania, Estonia, and 10 towns of Russia)
Where do you plan to gig the comming year? We start to record new song, make official video and make new toures :)
When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? In 2017, our merchendise are T-shirts, CD, and many others
Where can people buy your merchandise? In concerts, in facebook page and official site
What do you think of my work? We think taht your work is really important for musicians)

How do you get psyched for a gig? Energy drinks, physikal culture's exersices, voice exercises
Do you have any new material? Yes, of course, and we still work on it )
