How is it that you started playing music? We love music, so learning to play an instrument or sing was something natural For us, something that must happend. Play music is our passion. 

What are your names? / Who plays what? / How old are you? 

Thybreath are: 

Victor Camargo: voice

Ivan Arroyo: guitar

Dima petrov: guitar

Aitor Susperregui "Tsuspe" : bass

Francisco Pagano: drums

and all are between 30-38 years old

Have you had other previous members? Just Ivan is from the beginning he was the founder of the group, the other members has changed dirime this years to form the current lineup

Did you make music even when you were young? We started playing since we were Very young, always trying to write our own songs and 

Where are you from? All members currently live in madrid Spain. But Dima comes from Ukraine and francisco from Venezuela 

What year did the band form? Thybreath was formed, if I remember correctly, in the year 2012

What's your style of genre? The truth is that we don't like to label us in a particular style, people always told us that we make melodic death metal or thash metal or groove metal... but we like to say we make PURE FUCKING METAL

What inspires you? We get inspired with all the things than happend us Everyday Day , each one has its influences, but we want to translate into the songs every good or bad things that happend to us in our lifes 

How often and where do you reherse? We rehearsed 3 times a week here in madrid

How have you developed since you started with the music? We've been developing our style slowly, looking and learning new things from other groups that we admire, incorporating things of other styles to our music, growing as musicians gradually developing our own style 

Do you have other interests of work outside the band? At the moment we cannot say that we can live of what we do so we all have our jobs outside of the group, as interest... we like things, such as video, photography... maybe some stuff that can contribute in the future to the band

Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that? Yes, we have recently signed with Sihiro Music. For us it is a necessary step in our career, since as much as you want self manager it reaches a point where you don't give everything, and you need an external person who knows the subject and remove you work and is responsible for managing and organizing contracts with live shows, insterview, promo, fests...

Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? We are not in an active search for a label . But yes we are open to listen to offers, when we receive an offer that may reach us interested. we will accept without a doubt. Since also will come the day that is necessary for the development of the band

What made you decide to make this music? Metal is always what we have heard and liked us from the beginning ,the most classic metal, or the most extreme, so that was something that we born to

What are your songs about? The songs talk about problems of today's world, our own experiences and motivations. 

Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? Usually Víctor, the singer makes them although all contribute with some ideas

Do you start with the music or the lyrics? First we usually do the music and then fit the lyrics

Do you compose in a certain inviroment? Usually we compose the main idea in our homes and then we made it work with all of ideas in our reherasals

Have you done any covers live? We do not currently make live covers. At the beginning of the band I Think that they Play some Machine Head, or metallica cover

What language do you sing in? We sing in English. We think that it is a language that is more universal and more natural for this style of music

What are the least and most people to attend one of your gigs? We had all!!

Three been concerts with very few people, and others such as the Leyendas del rock fest that we could play in front of thousands of people

What ages are most of your concert attendants? Our audience . tends to be mostly people around 30. But we have all Kind of people

Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary? It depends on howmany time leave us to play at the concert. But now that we are with the tour of the album "where the gods fall" we always rey to play songs from this album

Do you have a regular place you play often live? We do not play always in the same place, we try to change cities and give a time between one and another concert in the same city

What was your first gig like? Our first concert with the current lineup was at the beginning of 2017,there are always some nerves before starting to play. Thinking if everything its going to be well and everyone do what you have to do. But always is fun to play live. We love it

What was your latest gig? The last concert was in October in Valladolid Spain, with good friends over as under the stage 

Have you had to cancel a gig? we try not to do it, once the decision taken to play the golf we respecto it is , we took the idea to the end. Although there are always some that cancel the Organization

Where have you played live this year? This year we've played in several cities in Spain, La Rioja, madrid, Oviedo, Albacete... we are touring with the álbum now 

Where do you plan to gig the comming year? We will continue with the tour of the latest album, crossing the Iberian peninsula and we will see if we are lucky to get to play out this year

When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? We started selling the Merchan in our gigs the typical t-shirts and cds, now we have expanded little the catalogue as we start working with Merchandising sale online stores. Now you can buy various models of t-shirts, hats, sweatshirts, shorts, cups... also some  the-beer or even wine

What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? its the natural evolution that has to suffer the music industry, some years ago musicians could life from the sale of records, now on the things come different and you have to work it a lil more, take more care of your live shows, Merchan... now also with the streaming services is easier to get your music to anywhere in the world, thing before for small band like us was something unthinkable, you have to adapt to the changes that the industry will suffer. who really like your music at the end its going tobuy your cd, to collect it or just to enjoy the work of design and others. You just have to adapt

How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? The previous answer can also apply here

How do you think and know that this interview will help you in the music business? Always good to talk about your music, whether they are big or small media. Any distribution is good. We Never say no to any interview. Since you never know who may end up reading about your work

Do you have any role models or idols? Yes, of course we have our references, we have grown up listening to this music and we always have large groups as a reference, just to take them as a reference to make our work, or even as musical influences,m

Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? When looking for inspiration, it is indifferent to search in old or new groups or even in other musical styles, anytime you hear something it brings you ideas to compose 

What have been your biggest obstacles? The harder times in the band where every time when someone leave the band, find someone who becomes involved with us 100%, and lace is somewhat complicated. 

What advice would you give other bands or artists? we have to support each other . Especially to our level. We see the Spanish scene like a great boat that we have to take to the next port and it is a work between all arrive, the important thing here is to get there. It dosent Matter if you are the first ir the last its great for all. If we work together to support us we will make a beautiful scene

How do you get psyched for a gig? The shows are that special moment when you show all the work you have been doing in the shadows, rehearsing every day, we tend to take it quite seriously and work hard, everyone knows what he has to do in each moment. and we try to keep focused all the time.

Do you have any new material? Yes, we are preparing and composing material for our next album. If everithing goes as we plan, you will get notices at the end of the current year
