Have any of you played in other bands? First of all,  thank you for doing this interview with us :) my name is Marlon and ima the Bass PLayer for Vienna Metal Band, yeah , for sure all of us had played in some bands before, ( stratovarius and nightwish cover bands to be exactly )

How is it that you started playing music? Well, for me was kind of funny, in early 90s seems like everyone has to play some instrument in school, so i choose the bass guitar because i love the sound and no one was playing bass at the time

Have you had other previous members? Yes, on the first album we had the lead singer Patricia Fernanda and Keyboardist Tiago Salgado 

Did you make music even when you were young? Since ever i think 

Where are you from? Belo Horizonte - Brazil, same city of famous bands Sepultura and Sarcofago

What year did the band form? late 1999 /early 2000 , but we give a break in early 2005 and returns only in early 2015

What's your style of genre? We like to call it Melodic Power Prog Metal

What inspires you? Well, Im a big NWOBHM fan , and i tend to write lyrics about being positive with all the shit around us, never five up never give in

How often and where do you reherse? one time in a week at our studio 

How have you developed since you started with the music? Good question, i never ever had a formal musical education, ive just practicing everyday as much as i can 

Do you have other interests of work outside the band? ohh yeah , i am a huge Rugby fan and used to play in my beloved Belo Horizonte Rugby Club , i still watch every match as possible

Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that? ahhh we really dont care, we just keep doing music, if something happens will be cool and we will think anbout it, if not , its ok

Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? A label would be cool , but not necessary , we live in the future, 2019 the internet is helping us to reach the people

What made you decide to make this music? Im a metal maniac, and i loved this kind of metal since the first time i heard ...you known that feeling when you listen to an Iron Maiden album for the first time and says " this is what i want for may life"

What are your songs about? psicological , depression rediscovering your inner ego 

Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? Usually Misael writes the songs and i do the lyrics

Do you start with the music or the lyrics? Always with the music and melodies

Do you compose in a certain inviroment? Not really , the songs came just out of the blue in every kind of situations as possible , sometimes a melody or a riff came to our minds  and we just run to record it to keep it preserved

Have you done any covers live? Just one song and only one time....the song Nemesis From Arch Enemy , but in your first album ( Earthquakes to Rearrange) there`S a version for Lie from Dream Theater and in our EP Deform To Form we recorded Believe in Nothing from Nevermore but never played these two songs live

What language do you sing in? English , but someday we will try portuguese ( brazilian portugueses to be specific )

What are the least and most people to attend one of your gigs? We played with great bands like Edu Falaschi Rebirth of Shadows , Drowned, and we played as a main act for sometimes but i dont know  ,,,the people may vary from 200 to 400 to a solo show and many more when we are open acts

What ages are most of your concert attendants? good question, i see many kids about 17 ,18 years old and young adults at 25,30 years old

Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary? its depends , if we got the time we may vary the order of the set list but we are always changing something

Do you have a regular place you play live often? No, but we will love when it happens

What was your first gig like? Was just like a dream and a nightmare combined, we was the opening act for a great band and everything was like an a speedrun, but the crownd was amazing , great memories

What was your latest gig? Last october, we did  a apparition in a festival when we played 2 songs

Have you had to cancel a gig? Saddly it happened one time when i was sick

Where have you played live this year? Not yet , but we are hungry to play live

Where can people buy your merchandise? Is strange , but we dont have an store yet  our album and Eps are for free download

What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? As i said, our entire material is for free download , i cant tell for the great  major bands , but for us  we sure that we can reach more people the way the things are today. Download the music , and come to the live shows :)

How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? Absolutely , theres no more giants today and no band will reach the sucess that Metallica, Iron Maiden  and others from the past , we live in a era with  great locals bands and the bigger bands is still around the world for our happinnes

What do you think of my work? Without people like you our job would be impossible , "crazy pelople" like you are the persons who most help the smaller bands like us these days and we cannot thank you enough

How do you think and know that this interview will help you in the music business? Im excited, we will reach new people that never heard about us, its awesome

Do you have any role models or idols? My Biggest musical idol is Billy Sheehan, i love the way he plays and the way he give attention to his fans ( including me ) , lovely guy and a true inspiration

Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? i think inspiration is in the air...we wrote a song for the second album inspired  on the beat of a tbus engine ( serious hahahaah ) so , inspiration is in everywhere

What have been your biggest obstacles? Being Brazilian, Sad to say , but is the true , so far from europe  and asia  we are in a country that mostly people dislike our genre of music

What advice would you give other bands or artists? Be cool with other bands, in special be cool with the fans because in a "sea" of classic albuns they are choosing to listen you

Do you have any new material? Yes !! the songs for our second album are being writed and recorded right now
