What´s the name of your band? Fallen Captive

Can you tell about your band? We're a metal band from a small town in Ohio called Twinsburg. We're just a couple of guys who practice in a barn and love playing music. We've been very fortunate for all the opportunities we've been given so far.

Who does what in the band?

Mitch Pivarski - Vocals

Jim Bergmann - Guitar
Rob Warmuth - Guitar
Jay Verbic - Drums
Brian French - Keys
Mike Tata - Bass

What was the ambitions of the band when you started? To make people feel something from our music and to have people enjoy our music.

Could you explain your music to someone that haven't heard you? We blend heaviness with melody and try to use multiple elements in our music.

What are your songs about? Our songs are about our actual lives. Whether that's a negative situation and turning it into something positive.

Do you write your own material or mainly covers? All our material is written by us.

Do you have any clips on YouTube? Plenty of clips. Just search Fallen Captive.

What year was the band started? With our current line-up, 2010.

What places will you be playing in in the immediate future? We have plans for an east coast tour of the United States.

How big crowds do you usually play for? Usually a couple of hundred.

What are the plans for the rest of the year? Just an east coast tour in October.

What are your sources of inspiration? The world around us.

Besides your own music, what genres and bands do you listen to? I personally listen to all kinds of music.

What would you do if there was no music? Life would not be the same.

How important are your fans? Absolutely important.

How often do you rehearse? We try to practice twice a week.

Where do you rehearse? At our drummer's house.
