What is the name of your band? Connies Gramp & the Big Jims
What is alloy name "Connies Gramp & the Big Jims" For? The story behind the name is only known by the bandmembers, it has a meaning but for now it´s a secret
What made you start playing music? A genuine love for music and a longing to do it for yourself not just listening to it
What made you start a band? It is the most fun way to express music. To perform music live, we all love that! Live music is the truest form and you´re not cheating anybody. When you get a crowd going to your music there's nothing like it. It´s the best feeling!
What was the plan when you started the band? We had no plan really just playing music we like and have a good time doing it
When did you start off band? We started this band in 2011
Where have you played from 2011 to 2013? All kinds of various places from pubs and partys to Hultsfreed Hayride and Vetlanda Live Park to name a few. All in all we´ve played about 35 different venues in the last year
Each was led first gig? Our first gig was at Freddstock Festivalen 2011
Where were off last gig? Kinda funny our last gig was at Freddstock Festivalen 2013 just last week
Each was led most promising gig? Our most promising in terms of getting our name out there we´d have to say Hultsfreed Hayride 2012
How many people usually come to your gig? It differs depending on the venue but usually a couple of hundred
Where do you plan to play the rest of the year? We have a couple of local gigs the next few weeks and we´re working on a few more in other parts of the country but no dates are set for them yet so keep your eyes open for them
What you drive for music style? We play Rhythm N Blues with a touch of Swing
What made you start with just "Rhythm 'n' Blues"? It´s for the love for it. It has a upbeat feel to it and it´s hard to stand still when you listen to it. Also it´s very funny to play
What are your songs about? They can be about anything really, no theme. Life in general
Do you own songs or covers? We do both our own songs and covers. We prefer doing our own of course.
Who writes the songs? / Who does the music? We´d like to think we all write the songs, everybody contributes their part to the song. Usually it begins with someone writing something and it goes on from there
Who has the best humor? We all have humor we have a lot of fun all the time. It´s always a good time whether it´s rehearsing or playing gigs with all that comes with it. We´re in it to have fun
Good and bad sides of the band? Can´t think of a "bad" thing really. We like to focus on the "good" sides and that´s probably our good side. That and we have a lot of fun doing this

What inspires you? Hmm everyday life i guess. You can write songs about everything whether it´s good or bad and that´s inspiring
Where is most common that you play? We play all kinds of places. Indoors, outdoors, pubs, partys, festivals and so on
What are your plans for the future? To record an album we´re recording songs right now and of course to play as much as possible
