What´s the name of your band? SklerotikZ
What made you call the band "SklerotikZ"? It’s a gift we have as a band…we never remember our riffs, when we finish jamming. That’s the reason we named ourselves SklerotikZ. Which is the name from the inflammatory disease multiple sclerosis.
Can you tell about your band? It’s our psychiatric center. Our sanctuary, We are SklerotikZ and we are OK.

What was the ambitions of the band when you started? Our ambition is just one: Playing Live On Stage meeting new places, exchanging opinions with people and bands.
Could you explain your music to someone that haven't heard you? SklerotikZ is an instrumental post-metal band from Greece with some crust/hardcore elements. It has been categorized as an "Experimental Post Metal" band and it is a mixture of black metal, crust, death metal, down tempo, experimental, hardcore, post metal.
Who writes your songs? We write our own stuff. The songs are a result of long jamming sessions with improvisations.
Why did you pick that particular style?/What are your songs about? We have been categorized as an "Experimental Post Metal" band but we never tried to play something particular, we are experimenting with all the music that we have in our heads. Plus our emotions, our experiences, our deeper inner thoughts about humanity, society, the past, the future and the Cosmos finally…
Have you made any albums?/If yes what are they?
We released the self-financed EP '’Equation Of Information Theory'’, recorded live in August 2006.
In April 2007 we participated in the "free to download" Death-Grind-Thrash compilation "Rabid Planet - Volume I", which included 25 bands from Europe, Asia and USA.
In September 2007 participated in the "Stars of a Happy Family" compilation along with: Ink, Personality Crisis, Mossbakk, No Sin, Ice in Eyes, It Won't Die, Bulldoza, Out of the Lair, Psycho Choke, 63 High, Leak, Rex Mundi, Senseless, Lazy Eye, Blind Tendril, Shock Absorber, Mindisease.
In Octomber 2013 we released our first full length album "The Last Generation_ΗΓενεάΤουΣιδήρου (Self-released) including 6 tracks total length 45min.

What year was the band started? The band was created under the name 'Uncanny' in September 2004 from Makis L. (former member of Splitdawn, Dihasmenes Alithies ) on lead guitars, Theodosis V. ( WreckAge & former member of Dihasmenes Alithies, Drunkard, Greet the Dead and Bad Trip ) on drums, Simos L. ( Watc[0] ) on rhythm guitars, Spyros Em ( Good Luck Mr. Gorsky ) and Marios G. ( former member of Senseless ) as vocalists. The formation of the band remained the same until June of 2005 where Spyros and Simos left the band for personal reasons. There was a period of re-establishment and in the ends of November of the same year the band changes its name to 'SklerotikZ' and Sotiris V. as vocalists joined in until May of 2009 where he had to leave the band for personal reasons, Konstantinos B. ( God of Rotors, Homoiratus ) on rhythm guitars and Nick R. ( former member of Mindisease ) on bass guitar joined in. In February of 2006 Nick had to depart due to military obligations where George S. filled in his place as a bass player until October of 2008 where he was replaced by Stratos D. (former member of Crystal Tears and Necrofuneral (GR) ). A new addition to the band in November of 2008 was the cellist Panagiotis Ios., Kostas K. ( State Of Tension ) replaced the previews cellist until now.
Where have you played from then till now? Since November 2005 until today we gave a satisfying number of live performances in Thessaloniki, Athens and other Greek cities. In addition we have performed in some known music festivals along with bands like Sepultura, Psycho Choke, Bull Doza, Human Rejection, Koncave, Eden Demise, 7t7, Darkstar, One Block Society, Drunkard, Genna Apo Kwlo, Rotting Flesh, Ice in Eyes, It, Freefall, Dihasmenes Alithies, No Way Out, Nidus, Second Nature, Twin Peags, Studiowaste, Como Esta Loco, Revolting Breed, Black Candles, Blind Tendril, Dustynation, Hangover, Leak, Mossback, National Pornografik, Psycharmonika, Sacred Blood, Mahakala, Tardive Dyskinesia, God.Fear.None, Suicidal Angels, Convicted, Against The Society, Veil, Head Cleaner, Kvazar, Samataz, Sickening Horror, Agnes Vein, Entry Is Not Allowed, King Fungus, Meanwhile In Mexico, Universe 217, Instant Boner, Kin Beneath Chorus.
How do you get psyched up for a gig? We drink and smoke weed…he!
What are your goals with your music? To go around the world playing our music…
What are your sources of inspiration? All The Music That We Have In Our Heads...Books and Society …
How do you feel about the downloading of music instead of buying albums? No problem as long as the fans support the bands in other ways…
What would be your dreams for the band? To be able to play around the globe in small clubs with really crazy people.
What would be your greatest fears for the future? New World Order, technology and humanity as one, human farms…
When you are on stage, what do you fear most then? The GOD of the bands. The Sound Engineer…
