interview with Necrobiotic

What´s the name of your band? F.A.C.O.:   Our band is called Necrobiotic.

How was the band formed? F.A.C.O.: Necrobiotic was formed in 1994 by two friends that want to play Death Metal and some Splatter stuff, at Divinópolis/MG, a small town near Belo Horizonte, hometown of the most influential and controvertial Brazillian Death Metal.

Can you tell about your band? F.A.C.O.: Necrobiotic is an "Old Scholl Death Metla Machine, trying to create something new, or at least, Extreme Metal, with a very strong personality.

Where are all band members from?/Who does what in the band?

F.A.C.O.: We are brazilian citizens, and we all live at Minas Gerais State, some in Divinópolis, and some in Belo Horizonte.

Necrobiotic is:  F.A.C.O.: Guitars and Vocals

Broka: Drums

Fabrício Franco: Bass

Humberto Silva: Guitars

What was the ambitions of the band when you started?

F.A.C.O.: My ambition was, always , to live the Headbanger life-style better as I can.

We were just teenagers when we started, and I think we just wanted to make some noise music, drink much as possible  and have some fun.

Could you explain your music to someone that haven't heard you?

F.A.C.O.: Well ,we have released our last album right now, on August/2014, the album is called "Death Metal Machine".

I beleive that I can describe it as a journey to the Death Metal ensemble of the early 90`s, from the most extreme Grindcore stuff to moments of clearly small pinches of Doom Metal.

Where was your first gig?

F.A.C.O.: With me in the band it was in Belo Hoirzonte at 1997. I believe it was in the Fuck the X-mas Metal fest of that year.

The first band gig ocurred in Abaete, a litlle town in Minas Gerais, at 1995. The fest was called "Rock in Roça".

Where was the latest gig? F.A.C.O.: A opening for the hard rock band Almah, at our hometown. It was before the release of "Death Metal Machine". For the end of the year we have some gigs to do at Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte...

Who writes your songs?/Who writes the music who writes lyrics? F.A.C.O.:  Most of the songs of  "Death Metal Machine"were composed by me and Broka. Fabricio and Humberto had created some stuff too, but unfortunatelly, there was no time enough for their contribution in the album. We have contributions from our former members too, J. Hell and Morone Hiffer, especially in the instrumental song called "O Caminho & o Retorno". This song was writen in 1996.

Who has the best since of humor in the band? F.A.C.O.: I belive that Broka has the best humor in the band, specially when he drinks a vodka or whiskey bottle. These situations are really hillarious.

What's good/bad with the band?/What genre do you feel you are? F.A.C.O.: Everything in the band is good, the bad thing is that we do not live of our music, so it is hard to conciliate our lifes with the band's life.

Why did you pick that particular style?/What are your songs about?

F.A.C.O.: Well,  we are Death Metal guys, we grow up in this scene, we help to make this scene, There is no other option.

We write about everything, Gore, Satan, War, Biology, History, Physics...and some personal fellings too.

Do you write your own material or mainly covers?  F.A.C.O.: Only our material.
