What´s the name of your band? Bewitched

How was the band formed? Back on 1990 I was trying to do some kind of dark and gloomy stuff then Bewitched was created by me (Doomicus) and Arahn Evil.

Can you tell about your band? Bewitched is an entity dedicated to crush every enemy

Where are all band members from?/Who does what in the band? Today on 2014 the Bewitched members are C. Mortvm on guitars and bass, Centurio on guitars and me (Dommicus) on drums, keys and vocals. Many members have passed through the band over the past 14 years

What was the ambitions of the band when you started? Create the music we liked. The same goal is today.

Could you explain your music to someone that haven't heard you? Underground Metal music with hints of classic Doom, 80’s Heavy Metal and Black Metal

Where was your first gig? March 1992, at any Valparíso enclosure

Where was the latest gig? August 19, 2001 at Providencia Theatre, Santiago.

Who writes your songs?/Who writes the music who writes lyrics? The lyrics are written by me and the music is written by C. Mortvm, Centurio and me. Some time ago the music was written by me, Arah Evil and Moerk Handen but these guys are not Bewitched members since alot of time.

Why did you pick that particular style?/What are your songs about? Is the music we like, simply. Our songs deal with death, paganism, telluric esoterism etc.

Do you write your own material or mainly covers? We have recorded cover songs of course, mainly cover songs from Mercyful Fate, Candlemass and Falkenbach but our primal stuff are original songs.

Have you made any albums?/If yes what are they? We have released 6 full-lenght albums, several demo tapes, 1 split album with the finish F-Uncunt, several compilations and another split Cd along our countrymates Gorgeo Seglar and the german Ymer Land. Full-lenghts: Hibernum In Perpetuum 1995, Dragonflight 1997, Somewhere Beyond The Mist 2001, Self Confidence 2003, Unveiling Zion 2005, Dragonflight 2007.

How old are you?/What got you started in music? 45 years old I’m. I started on Metal music on 1984

How old were you guys when you first stood on stage? I don’t remember, 20 years old maybe

What year was the band started? 1990 but this question is redundant

Best/worst gig you've played? Best: Valdivia, August 1999 Worst: Pica’ on’ Chito, Santiago, August 1999

What places will you be playing in in the imidate future? Nowhere cause we don’t like to play live anymore.

Where have you played from then till now? Santiago, Concepción, Talcahuano, Puerto Montt, Valkparaíso, Calama and Valdivia. 1992-2001

Witch band is the best you´ve seen? andlemass, 2006, with the classic line up

Is it always the same songs live? When we played live there were different songs each time but of course, there were several classic Bewitched songs played always

What has been the best/most promising gig so far? Redundant question

Have you had any bigger tours from start to now? redundant again

How big crowds do you usually play for? When we played live there were small and big gigs. The chilean Metal crowd is the more brutal in the world

What are the plans for the rest of the year? Waiting for our 7^th album to be released

Where do you usually play? We don’t play live anymore!!!

What are your goals with your music? Redundant question again

Is it easier to get your inspiration from older bands or from bands more modern? Older bands but there are several great band nowdays

What are your sources of inspiration? Musically, from the music we like and our own sense of composition. Lyrically, by my own mind and spirit

What's the first step when making a new song? First, there comes some riffs then the song creation process is started

How do you feel about the downloading of music instead of buying albums? I don’t have anything against dowloading music, but I never will pay for it. If I pay for music it MUST be on physical format (CD, vinyl).Pay for an compressed file is ridiculous!

What would be your dreams for the band? Maybe to hold the complete Bewitched discography on vinyl

Besides your own music, what genres and bands do you listen to? Too much to be detailed here

What would be your greatest fears for the future? The triumph of the zionist and masonic plague upon the world.

When you are on stage, what do you fear most then? We dont play live anymore!

What songs and what years were they released? Too much, since 1991 till now

Have you been part of any other projects? Yes, I’ve two another musical entities; Mjölner and Notung.

Besides Mjölner and Notung? No one

What do you work with outside of the band and the music? I run my own label/distro since 2002 but besides the music, its a personal matter

How important are your fans? We create music we like so I don’t care about the fans really.

What's the funniest/most memorable thing a fan has done for you? Ask for autographs and pics with us

Name 2 of your own songs you like at the moment? Caravans and Morta, Átropos & Skuld (Causae Et Effectus)

What do you feel is the best live band you've seen? Candlemass

What drives a band that isn't all that famous and renowned to try to make a living on their music and to keep playing? I dont know and I dont care cause our goal is not to be rich and famous with our music. This is UNDERGROUND!

Do you have any webpages? We had any webpages in the past but today the only website for Bewitched is there on Facebook, runned by a fan.

Any pearls of wisdom for all other bands out there? Fuck you! No more words

What are the biggest obstacles for a band? Thiefs, prejudices, ego and money

What is best/worst with playing the clubs? Best; Enjoy a crushing performance. Worst: crooks

How would you describe your sound in one sentence Disturbing

What is your favorite crappy instrument? I don’t know really. I love the mixed combo of drums, guitars and bass

What was one of the most quarrelsome times for you in the band? On 2001 we were on several band troubles so then I left the band for a while

Whats your Pre-show ritual? We dont play live anymore but back on time, I was asking protection to Lucifer.

Do you have anything to add? Our 7^thalbum will be released on digipack by Tyrannus records next December. The album name is “In Via Increatae Lvx”
