How is it that you started playing music? I started playing music because I was searching a new sound to the Death Metal in my country
What are your names? / Who plays what?
The band is called CORPORAL JIGSORE and their members are:
Adriana Pinaya Johannessen: Drums
Julio Toro: Guitars
Luis Jiménez: Bass and Vocals

Have you had other previous members? Yes we had, but those members were musicians by sessions
Did you make music even when you were young? Yes, I did but it was so erratic nothing important to remember
Where are you from? I am form Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia (South America)
What year did the band form? The band was form offcially in 2008, with the first demo sessions
What's your style of genre? Death Metal
What inspires you? The music and lyrics of CORPORAL JIGSORE are inspire by Evil, Wrath, Hatred and selfishness
How often and where do you reherse? Wepractice 4 times at week, in our private studio
How have you developed since you started with the music? We are in a constantly change, we improve many aspects of our native music, more and more, we are trying to create a new death metal wave in our City and in our country, song by song, Record by record
Do you have other interests of work outside the band? Yes, we try to share the production with other local bands.
Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that? Always we are open to listen offers, and we think bookers do a great job when the band work at the same way.
Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? Yes we are looking for a Label, because we think bands have to concentrate to create and play music. Bussines, tours, etc are for Labels.
What made you decide to make this music? We decide to make music because it is a way to express our existence like a human being
What are your songs about? Our songs talk about, anti Religion, Evil, darkness, and the selfishness
Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? Luis the Vocal of the band Compose all lyrics for the band
Do you start with the music or the lyrics? We create both ath the same time
Do you compose in a certain inviroment? We try to compose all songs in our studio practicing, and playing togethers. We try to compose all songs in our studio practicing.
Have you done any covers live? Yes, we played Motorhead, Sepultura, Krisiun and Slayer.
What language do you sing in? The most lyrics are in english, we got just one song in spanish called "SALVE MUERTE"
What are the least and most people to attend one of your gigs? They are mostly metal heads
What ages are most of your concert attendants? 16 years old we think but are many of 18 and olders
Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary? We make changes in our set list constantly for every show.
Do you have a regular place you play live often? We think are in METAL FEST in our country
What was your first gig like? It was in a Pub in our city, with a 200 pleople aprox
What was your latest gig? We were in a tour in COLOMBIA across 4 differents cities like Bogota, Ibague, Pereira, etc.
Have you had to cancel a gig? Never
Where have you played live this year? Inside our country and a Tour across Colombia
Where do you plan to gig the comming year? USA, EUROPE and ASIA
When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? We started to sell merchandise about 2009, and we have CD, Thisrts and patch

We sell our cds and other stuff by Postal Mail, people contact to our management to our official sites

What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? I have just one thing to say if you are a METAL FAN, if you like a METAL BAND buy their records and merchandise, if you don't buy, go to their shows an pay for the ticket. If you don't buy their records or pay for their shows you are not a METAL FAN.
How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? A lot, i think MUSIC INDUSTRY do not going to invest money in business to lose their money.
What do you think of my work? I think you are doing the right thing to support a lot of band like ours.
How do you think and know that this interview will help you in the music business? I know because more people could know about our band. It's like open a new door for new opportunities.
Do you have any role models or idols? Models could be, but we believe the right model are inside our self, the selfishness its the model and the idol tol follow.
Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active to day? Both I think.
What have been your biggest obstacles? I think there is not exist obstacles if you do your job and promote your band you could make big things.
What advice would you give other bands or artists? Keep practicing, keep recording, keep playing live and your goals going to be a sucessful goals.
