What´s the name of your band? Kusari Gama Kill
How was the band formed? Marin and I met each other back in 1993 and always wanted to make some fast noisy music. Son in 2006, we formed KGK.

Where are all band members from?/Who does what in the band? Martin is from Kalundborg, and I am from the countryside in Sønderjylland. Now we both live in Copenhagen.
What was the ambitions of the band when you started? We wanted to make an album with 99 songs. We did that, twice...
Could you explain your music to someone that haven't heard you? Very fast drums, harsh noise and growls.
Where was your first gig? It was at a Norberg Festival showcase in Stengade 30 in Copenhagen in december 2006 with Sten Ove Toft and others.
Where was the latest gig? It was in august 2014, at Loppen in Copenhagen, with Dead Instrument, Razorrape, Lisbent and others
Who writes your songs?/ who writes the music who writes lyrics? I make the drum pattern and writes the lyrics, Martin makes the noise.
Who has the best since of humor in the band? We have no humor.
What's good/bad with the band?/What genre do you feel you are? A bad thing is that we have such a limited audience, we are too harsh most almost everybody. That's a good thing too, as we want to be WILD!
Why did you pick that particular style?/What are your songs about? We love noisy music and wanted to see how extreme we could get. Our songs are about all sorts of things, some about politics, some about horror and some plain silly.
Do you write your own material or mainly covers? It's all original material.

How old are you?/What got you started in music? We are 43. We both began playing music in our teens.
Best/worst gig you've played?
Best: Our recent gig at Loppen
Worst: A gig at the Galore Festival here in Copenhagen, when our computer malfunctioned and the sound man was stoned.
Witch band is the best you´ve seen? I've seen so many bands, but highlights are Repulsion, Venom, Napalm Death, Residents and Carcass
How big crowds do you usually play for? 2-50 people.
What are the plans for the rest of the year? To make more music, and have a good time.
What are your sources of inspiration? Japanoise, grindcore, noisecore.
What's the first step when making a new song? I make the drums on my iPad (a drum machine called DM1), then Martin makes noise to fit, and I mix and add vocals.
Filesharing is helping spread the music, that's good, I personally always buy music if I like it, but can understand people who can't friends
Besides your own music, what genres and bands do you listen to? We listen to all sorts, Shellac, Future Of The Left, black metal, industrial, grindcore, noise, reggae, synthpop etc.

What would be your dreams for the band? To release a vinyl 7"

Have you been in any other bands? I was in Denmark's first grindcoreband Sardonic Death. Martin was in an evil punkband whose name I have forgotten. We also have a band called Uddercock, even noisier than Kusari Gama Kill.
