What is the name of your band? I dont know... um I think Ingested Lobotomized Remains!
What does the name "Ingested Lobotomized Remains" stand for? Ingestesting the remains of lobotomy.
What made you call the band "Ingested Lobotomized Remains"? I am a fan of medical shit and lobotomy. I really wanted to use the word "lobotomized", the rest eventually came together and I am very happy with the name.
How was the band formed? Started off as a side project. I wanted to do some goregrind and have fun making some brutal shit!
What made you form the band? I wanted to do some 1 man goregrind to express my creativity.
Can you briefly introduce your band and who you are? Im colton from Ingested Lobotomized Remains.
Where are all bandmembers from? Who does what in the band? I am from Canada! From the shithole of Cambridge Ontario. I do everything;  guitar, vocals, programmed drums and occasionally bass though I haven't used bass on my music in a while.
What was the ambitions of the band when you started? Just wanted to do some goregrind. I like to have fun with my music. I never really wanted to play gigs though I ended up doing a few. I just want to make some goregrind and enjoy it and have my fans enjoy it too.
Could you explain your music to someone that haven't heard you? Retarded shit inspired by gore and grovey music! Its goregrind with a bit of slam. Few songs are a bit like brutal deathmetal but overall my shit is goregrind.
Where was your first gig? Sometime in 2012 at some shithole warehouse in Kitchener Ontario, good show with some good bands but that venue was really complete shit! It was a really ghetto place.
Where was the latest gig? I was supposed to play a show last February in Kitchener but it was superbowl sunday and the bands ran late. I didn't get to play my set. It was getting late and the bar told us we couldn't play anymore. Oh well, not much of a loss, the headliner band was some shit melodic deathmetal band anyways.
Who has the best since of humor in the band? My dead cat that I raped.
What's good/bad with the band?/What genre do you feel you are? All my shits good. Actually I really feel that my early releases are shit. My newer stuff is fun grovey goregrind!
Why did you pick that particular style? What are your songs about? I like goregrind, its fun to make and fun to listen too. Alot of my songs I write and record while drunk! I just want to make fun, gory, grovey, brutal shit!
Do you write your own material or mainly covers? All original stuff.
Have you made any albums? If yes what are they? Yes their is my self titled album from 2012, no other albums I think, just a shitload of EPs and a few splits.

How old are you? What got you started in music? I am 21, I started playing guitar at 10 years old and been playing deathmetal since highschool.
How old were you guys when you first stood on stage? My old slam band Fetal Exhumation played our first gig when I was 19 I think and the other members were only 17!
What year was the band started? IxLxRx started in 2011.
How old were you the first time you saw a liveband play? 10 I think. I can't remember. I've been to a few rock concerts as a little kid.
How old were you at your first gig? Best/worst gig you've played? I guess my first "real" gig was when I was 19 and fetal exhumation played "carnage in cambridge" with some sick bands including Nephelium, Nexortus, Serene Molestation, Rotting Entrails and some other bands. Worst gig was in oshawa, fetal exhumation got ripped off by some fat fuck promoter named bob shaw from cuff that refused to pay us the proper gas money he owed us. What a fucking loss, oh well, oshawa is such a shit town anyways.
What places will you be playing in in the imidate future? No upcoming gigs, though I will probably be playing some gigs with my new band I'm forming.
Where have you played from then till now? I've played Kitchener, Cambridge, Oshawa and maybe some other shitholes I can't think of.
What songs are in your live set's? My last set was mostly stuff from my 2012 album and 1 cover, dying fetus - kill your mother rape your dog.
Is it always the same set's live? I switch it up a bit but its mostly a few songs from my album and a few songs of my early stuff.
What has been the best/most promising gig so far? I don't know. I don't really like gigging that much. I'd rather be writing music instead of performing it.
What are the plans for the rest of the year? Release EP, maybe do another split and focus on my other bands.
Where do you usually play? Kitchener.
How do you get psyched up for a gig? Masturbate furiously.
What are your goals with your music? Make brutal shit and have fun!
When did you decide to go all in for the music? Yesterday.
Is it easier to get your inspiration from older bands or from bands more modern? Newer bands though I do listen to alot of old school deathmetal like deicide, cannibal corpse and dying fetus.
What are your sources of inspiration? Dead hookers and meth. JK but seriously I take inspiration from lots of bands such as Amputated, Torsofuck, Spermswamp, Gorevent, Napalm Death, Last days of humanity, and tons of other bands.
What's the first step when making a new song? Get some drums going, then jam out some riffs, the last thing I do is vocals.
How do you feel about the downloading of music instead of buying albums? People are going to download albums anyways, bands fighting piracy are stupid. Plus free music is great for getting your band heard and promoting.
What would be your dreams for the band? Just continue to make great music and have fun
Besides your own music, what genres and bands do you listen to? I listen to alot of stuff; Pornogrind, Slam, Brutal Deathmetal, Grindcore, Tech Death, and even some crust punk and D-beat.
What do you hold most dear? My penis.
What songs and what years were they released? Soo many songs, Google it. Most my stuffs out there on the internet for download.
Have you been part of any other projects? Yes. I have a sort of technical deathmetal band Sacrectomy and also working on a project call Gushing with my buddy jeff from dislabia. Gushing is some really brutal shit, sort of in the style of Gutteral Sucrecte and Orchidectomy.
Have you been in any other bands? Fetal Exhumation, Sacrectomy, Gushing and a new currently unnamed band coming soon.
What do you work with outside of the band and the music? I got a day job with a contracting company, I work monday to Friday like an average person. Im saving up lots and will be buying a new car eventually.
What would you do if there was no music? Go on a murderous rampage or run for office lol.
How important are your fans? Very important. Thanks to everyone who likes my music! If it wasn't for my fans my music wouldn't be heard as much and IxLxRx wouldn't have as much popularity.
What's the funniest/most memorable thing a fan has done for you? Hmm I don't know.  I get allot messages from spanish speaking people that can hardly speak english, I see some weird stuff from em.
How often do you rehearse? Rarely.

Name 2 of your own songs you like at the moment? Gore Domain and Bible Bonfire Sex Party.
What do you feel is the best liveband you've seen? Misery Index were pretty awesome live.
What drives a band that isn't all that famous and renowned to try to make a living on their music and to keep playing? There is no money in this genre, just pocket change. If someone wants to make a living off of goregrind or any brutal music then pick a different genre.

What do you feel a band/muscian should spend their money on?Recording equipment and better instruments. Small independent bands shouldn't be spending thousands on a pro studio just to record a demo. Do it yourself and get a nice raw brutal sound!
