What are your names? / Who plays what? / How old are you?

What year did the band form? GODLESS CRUSADE was formed in the year 2006 and was active till early 2008. After a long break we now came together again in 2016.

Have you had other previous members? Of Course. We had several musicians joining our Crusade. But Jan and René are the only constant members from the beginning. Maybe someone knows Teutonic Slaughter, who formed the band CRUEL FORCE, played with NOCTURNAL for some time and is now active as a live member with WITCHING HOUR. He played Lead Guitar at GODLESS CRUSADE back in 2006 till late 2007.

Have any of you played in other bands? Before GODLESS CRUSADE there was no serious band for Jan and René. Jan was just 17 years old when we formed the band back then. René had played Bass with a Coverband and was the bass player of GODLESS CRUSADE before switching to Vocals.

How is it that you started playing music? For me (René) the intuition to make music was my appeal for writing. And in order to get them heard I bought a bass guitar with the assumption that it is easier to learn than a guitar because of fewer strings. When I (Jan) was a young boy and started to listen to metal music, it was my intention to play guitar guitar on my own and perform on stage like the members of my favorite bands.

Where are you from? We are from South Germany and live in Stuttgart.

What's your style of genre? Oldschool thrash Metal, with some atmospheric twist in it. We were inspired by german thrash heroes like KREATOR and SODOM, but also love black metal like IMMORTAL. DESASTER is an german underground band which also influenced us. And of course RUNNING WILD. So besides shredding and fast thrashmetal - melodies and atmosphere are very important to us.

How have you developed since you started with the music? We hope so. After the Split up in 2008 each of us made music with other bands, so there was never a break up from music. Jan formed the melodic death metal band ACROMONIA. René played with an industrial thrash metal band before forming the dark electro/EBM band VAN UNDERCUT.

Do you have other interests of work outside the band? Jan: I spend my whole freetime with playing and writing music, that's my passion. So there is not muc time for other activities. René: Well it all has connections to music, so I am addicted.

Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? Satan ordered us to do so.

What made you decide to make this music? Back in time at the year 2006 we alle were more into extreme metal like Thrash and Deathmetal. And so it was clear to follow this roots.

What are your songs about? War, war, war. Little bit of satan, burning churches and war

Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? Jan is the master of the melodies. And Rene writes what news on television shows him.

What language do you sing in? English. It fits the style of music best.

Do you have any new material? In 2017 our debut album “World In Flames” will be releases. 10 Tracks of furious devastation and some hooks
