Have any of you played in other bands?
For 10 year we both played together in Gandavo
(2001-2011). Joabson Silva played in several bands, his most significant performances were on album Idiocracy (Pandemmy, 2011) and he played with Uncivilized (2011-2016). João Andrade is Musical Producer and recorded somes projects as Buaiteoir.
How is it that you started playing music?
The year was 1996 in the school. I performed on
the stage of Talent Show and Silva’s cousin introduced me to him.

Have you had other previous members?No.
Did you make music even when you were young?
Yes. We started to play together in 1996, but
Silva had played keyboard before.
Where are you from?Recife, Pernambuco – Brazil
What year did the band form?
Since 2011 we are trying to get together to produce
new songs, but it is not until 2019 that we can do it.
What's your style of genre?Folk Metal
What inspires you?Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, Wintersun, Menhir
How often and where do you rehearse?
We rehearse once a week.
We are planning to air live rehearsals on Instagram (IGTV).
How have you developed since you started with the music?
It was during the recording sessions of the Buaiteoir
EP that the duo found the “North” they sought! The maturing of ideas, techniques and the influence of traditional European music, as well as the studies about the ancient Nordic, Celtic and Germanic cultures, both in the musical context and on historical research,
instigated the musicians to return to playing together in 2019.
Do you have other interests of work outside the band? Living music is not enough. We have other jobs.
Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that?
Yes. Booking Agency is very important for our
25th Anniversary Tour (2021).
Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? Yes. A Label is very important for our 25th Anniversary Álbum (2021).
What made you decide to make this music? That day in 1996!
What are your songs about?
The lyrics of the songs tell the story of the
journey of someone who has been cursed, imprisoned in time and space, who is searching for the way back to the Land of ancestors. The poems allude to the pagan gods, Scandinavian, Greek, Muslim and Deities of other cultures such as African, Meso American and
Brazilian Indigenous.

Do you start with the music or the lyrics?
It depends, sometimes I write a lyric other times
Silva has a good guitar riff or lead, so we put it together and we get better over time
Do you compose in a certain inviroment? Yes. In my Studio (Viela Estúdio).
Have you done any covers live? Not yet. But we are playing some classic songs on rehearsal.
What language do you sing in? English, but a little of Gaelic, German and Latin.
What ages are most of your concert attendants? Everybody that likes good Lyrics and Folk Metal Sound.
Where do you plan to gig the coming year?Internet will be our stage! But a World Tour is good too!

Listen all kind of music it’s so important! But

How do you get psyched for a gig? Drinking water!

We are currently producing the single "Verflucht"
that will be released in the first half of 2019.
