Yes, we have been playing music since the early 90ies

How is it that you started playing music?
Roland and I were on a party and the music there was bad. So we decided to start a band and make music we like.
This was new year’s eve 1991

Petra (vocals) 45 years old
Daniel (git) 42 years old

Did you make music even when you were young? Yes, Sarcasm Syndrome was our first band and we were like 15-16
Where are you from? Innsbruck, Austria. But I was born in Kristianstad/Sweden
What year did the band form? 1991-1992
What's your style of genre? Epic Doom
What inspires you? Life
How often and where do you rehearse? Normally once a week (in Innsbruck)
How have you developed since you started with the music? Well, in more than 25 years some development has taken place.
Do you have other interests of work outside the band? Except Petra and myself the other members play in other bands as well.
Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that? Would be nice.

What made you decide to make this music? The music we listened to. We were huge fans of Doom Metal bands like Swedish band Candlemass or US- Solitude Aeturnus
What are your songs about? One song is called Doomed, well the title says everything..
Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? Composing is done by Daniel and Roland. The rest of the band then add their ideas to the songs. Lyrics are done by Roland
Do you start with the music or the lyrics? Mostly music..
Do you compose in a certain environment? No.
Have you done any covers live? Yes. Mirror Mirror/ Candlemass and Strange Machines/The Gathering
What language do you sing in? English
What are the least and most people to attend one of your gigs? Least I don’t know. Most would be in the 90ies were we had gigs in front of +600
What ages are most of your concert attendants? I don’t know;-)
Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary? No, we vary
Do you have a regular place you play live often? PMK in Innsbruck
What was your first gig like? Horrible to begin with. I was the vocalist back than and very nervous. This was October 1992 But in the end it was great fun..
What was your latest gig? May 3, 2019. Release Party of our album Thy Darkness
Have you had to cancel a gig? Once, a gig here in Innsbruck 2017 with Procession.
Where have you played live this year? We did some gigs in Austria
Where do you plan to gig the coming year? Where they want to hear us..

What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days?
You know, I am 43 and I was used to pay for music. And this has not changed to this day. I do not download or stream.
I buy, because I want to hold a CD or Vinyl in my hands and I want to support the bands..
Music is more than simple consumption..
How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? A lot and this is not good for the bands..

Do you have any role models or idols? No!
Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? Any good music could be an inspiration (not Metal alone)
What have been your biggest obstacles?
The split up in 1997 was due to a different view regarding our musical future
But with a 20 year break a lot things changed. Today we are very happy to be together again playing our old and new songs..
What advice would you give other bands or artists? Keep the focus on the joy of playing/making music…
