What are your names? / Who plays what? / How old are you? Harald „HP“ Piller, guitar and lead vocals, 57 years old. Harry Reiter, drums, 55 years old. Jason Mathias, lead guitar, 46 years old. Tom Mayer, bass, 50 years old. 
Have any of you played in other bands? Harry and HP played in a band called „Saints‘ Anger“ back in the 80‘s. Tom played in a cover band. Jason jammed with some school friends.
Where are you from? We are from Germany.
What year did the band form? PALACE was founded in 1990.
What's your style of genre? Heavy metal.
How often and where do you rehearse? We try to rehears at least once a week.
Do you have other interests of work outside the band? Outside the band we all have normal jobs.
What made you decide to make this music? We grew up with the „New wave of british heavy metal“, that was the reason.
What are your songs about? All kinds of themes, nothing special.
Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? HP writes the songs and the lyrics.
Do you start with the music or the lyrics? We start with the music.
Do you compose in a certain inviroment? Most of the songs were created at HP‘s home.
Have you done any covers live? Yes, we did. Kiss, Judas Priest, AC/DC, Accept.
What language do you sing in? We sing in english.
What are the least and most people to attend one of your gigs? We played in front of three to thousand people.
What ages are most of your concert attendants? Teens to grand parents.
Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary? When we release a new record, we change the setlist.
Do you have a regular place you play live often? Not really, we try to play in many different places as possible.
What was your latest gig? A festival last october.
Have you had to cancel a gig? Yes, but not often.
Where have you played live this year? There was no show yet, we are working on a new album.
Where do you plan to gig the comming year? In April we play a smaller festival and in June a bigger one in Czech Republic.
When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? We started merchandising from the beginning. New merch will come with the new cd.
Where can people buy your merchandise? At our website.
What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? We don‘t condemn the people who download music, we condemn the people who offer music on illegal platforms.
How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? The indusrie is partly to blame. Now they release everything to make money.
What do you think of my work? We think it‘s important, just like the underground fanzines in the 80‘s.
Do you have any role models or idols? We had in our youth. The metal bands from the 80‘s, and most of them still exist today.
What have been your biggest obstacles? Our biggest obstacles are that two of the band member work in shifts and we can‘t rehearse as uch as we want.
What advice would you give other bands or artists? Don‘t lipsync, always play live and never give up.
What are your plans for the future? To release a new cd and do some touring.
