interview with Night Fever

Have any of you played in other bands? 
yes, i played in a band called Arrigt Antræk and i play now in another band called tyrant.
hasse (guitar) has played in Moonless, Hjertestop, Arrigt Antræk, Leathervein, Kasper  (bass) has played in No hope for the kids, Moonless, Asbest, Dig og Mig, Death Token and Agro Jive( i porbably forgot some) Jesper (Drums), played in Sløseri der skader os alle, Ripping Headache, Hjertestop, and plays in tyrant.
Mathias (guitar) Played in Realm Of Chaos, and plays now in an insane amount of metal bands, Hyperdontia, Taphos Ascendency, Sulphurous, Had.
Have you had other previous members? yes, our old friend Andreas, kasper our bassist younger brother. he quit the band to pursuit his career in pinball(!) haha i'm not even joking. and he just had a child so he asked kasper if he could just take over for him. we also had another guitarist his name was theis, he sang in Leathvein.
What are your names? / Who plays what? Salomon, Vocals, Hasse, Guitar, Mathias, Guitar, kasper, Bass, Jesper Drums.
Where are you from? Everyone is from Copenhagen!
What year did the band form? oh, i actually can't remember. 2007-2008?
What's your style of genre? hardcore punk with some heavy metal inspiration
What inspires you? All kinds of hardcore punk, Metal,  Classic Rock, blues, soul.
Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that? We have a booking agency in denmark (gearbox) and was a short stint on Avocado Bookings.
we will find a new one when it's time to tour.
Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that? yes, and things will work out in the end.
What are your songs about? Suicide, drug abuse and total Annihilation, 
Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? I do. i Write about 95% of all the riffs and all the lyrics, but we put together the songs as one band.
Do you compose in a certain inviroment? when i bike, with my recording device and at home.
Have you done any covers live? yes! we have covered Poison Idea, Gang Green, Uniform choice and the kids. maybe some more, 
What are the least and most people to attend one of your gigs? 1 person at a bar in Cleveland, Ohio (now that's class)  and 5000 people at Roskilde Festival
What ages are most of your concert attendants? Hmm, 20-40 year of age?
Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary? No, we vary. 
Do you have a regular place you play live often? not really.
What was your first gig like? it was fun, it was at a place in denmark called Loppen. we hadn't played punk for a while so it was a much needed release of energy.
What was your latest gig?
Lord have mercy, you're asking a man who has his been drinking himself semi-retarded for 20 years or so.
i can't remember. maybe K-town festival? i'm not sure and i dont bother to look it up...  
Where have you played live this year? we havent playe this year and we really miss it!
When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale? we started selling merch from the get go. we have t-shirts, hoodies, patches, Pin's, lp's and cd's

What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records now a days? hmm, i think it's ok to download an album to have a listen, if you like it, support the band and buy it, or dont. it's kinda out of my hands. people are gonna do whatever the fuck they want anyways. and that's how it should be.
How do you think the music industry have changed because of this? don't know, don't care.
What do you think of my work? i havent had the time or the willpower to delve into it. i got 5 mouths to feed and a furious vinyl collection habit so my hands are tied!
How do you think and know that this interview will help you in the music business?
I don't think it will help us in the music business.  just thought it was a nice gesture to help you out when you seemed interested in our band.
besides i'm a recluse so  this is the first time i've had human contact in a while.  so  here i am, and old man chatting with a 23 year old. I'm suprised the conversation hasn't taken a turn for the worse yet haha.
Do you have any role models or idols? Rob halford, Jerry A, GG allin.
Why do you think that they exist? i guess their parent's decided to copulate?
Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? older bands definately, 
What have been your biggest obstacles?
Drugs, accidents, jailtime, children, ego's, alchohol, and just general stupidity.
all huge time consumers for us.
What advice would you give other bands or artists?
nobody likes you. not even your mothers so just give up.
or just remember to have fun while playing. it's the most important thing,.
Do you have any new material? yes! almost enough for a new record!
